직원들 모두 아주 친절하고 잘 도와주셨어요. 아주 바쁜 시간에 제가 체크인을 하는데도 매니저 분도 밖으로 나와서 주차 안내를 해주셨고요. 객실은 새로 리모델링 돼서 시설이 모두 깨끗하고 넓었고 호텔 앞쪽에도 무료로 주차할 수 있지만 뒤쪽에 전용 주차장이 있어서 편리하게 사용했어요. 아침 조식도 맛있게 먹었습니다. 특히 호텔에서 함께하는 펍이 아주 인기 있는 곳인지 항상 사람이 많았는데 저희도 아주 만족스럽게 저녁 식사를 해서 추천하고 싶습니다.

Nice location in a pretty part of the world with good facilities and excellent staff

Very nice room and good food. Stayed on business, but the downside is breakfast doesn’t start until 8am, which is too late for business travellers.

My second stay at The George and very enjoyable. I was given a very warm room at the time of a heatwave but was moved without any fuss when I asked. The restaurant staff were excellent even though they were very busy and the food was delicious. Lovely place to stay. Definitely recommend.

Enjoyed our stay, stayed in pet friendly room, ideal to walk across road to the park. Parking can be a bit tight in car park but no problem parking on road.

Great location, lovely breakfast a very comfy cozy stay

From the minute we walked into the hotel, the staff were very friendly, from taking us to our room, helping with luggage, service at the bar, and the restaurant in the evening, the food in an evening was wonderful, being vegetarian there wasn’t much for me, however they soon sorted that by whipping up a lovely salad Breakfast was lovely too, lots to choose from

Very clean with cosy atmosphere. Food in restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.

Overall good. Had to ask for the heating to be put on but not a problem. TV signal iffy and reported. Staff and Manager were very good. Breakfast was good, sausage not to wifes taste. Evening meal was excellent. As it was free with points it was extra good !!

All the staff were super helpful , very friendly , welcoming & professional . Excellent dining & great breakfast. Indeed I strongly recommend the George for a great nights’sleep .

Very impressed. The staff were excellent. The accommodation was very clean and we were in a lovely quirky room with a fabulously sloping floor that really added character. The only thing to mention was car parking was a little limited but other than that we had a really good experience.

We had a fantastic stay. The room was immaculate, the finish was perfect and it was very clean. We had a pet friendly room which was lovely and it was a nice surprise to have dog bowls, treats, dog bed and blanket in the room. Breakfast was very nice and we also chose to have dinner in the pub due our stay which was also very nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Just a couple of very small things which could make the whole experience a bit better would be plumper pillows and the way in from the car park doesn’t really match up to how amazing the rest of the establishment is.

Very quaint, cosy and friendly hotel. Lovely furnishings, clean & quiet rooms. Dinner and breakfast were excellent with great menus. Will be staying again.
