Very impressed. The staff were excellent. The accommodation was very clean and we were in a lovely quirky room with a fabulously sloping floor that really added character. The only thing to mention was car parking was a little limited but other than that we had a really good experience.

We had a fantastic stay. The room was immaculate, the finish was perfect and it was very clean. We had a pet friendly room which was lovely and it was a nice surprise to have dog bowls, treats, dog bed and blanket in the room. Breakfast was very nice and we also chose to have dinner in the pub due our stay which was also very nice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful.
Just a couple of very small things which could make the whole experience a bit better would be plumper pillows and the way in from the car park doesn’t really match up to how amazing the rest of the establishment is.

What a lovely place ☺️
We only stayed for one night as we came up from Chester to pick up a boxer puppy early on the Saturday,if we’d have known how lovely it was,we would have stayed an extra night,the staff and rooms are lovely (although our room did smell quite musty and there was quite a lot of mould in the bathroom on the shower and bottom of the bath) we had a meal there on the Friday evening when we arrived,it was so busy with Christmas party’s but the staff were so happy and friendly and couldn’t do enough for us,no matter how busy they were,it was like they were only serving us,the food was lovely and the decor of the bar and restaurant are stunning,it’s such a shame that we live so far away,if we didn’t I would most definitely stay here again,I 100% recommend you stay here xx

On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly staff member who check us in, showed us to our room and gave us all the information we needed for our stay. The room was lovely, well equipped and clean, we ate evening meals in the restaurant on two night, the menu had plenty of choice, the staff were all very good with nothing being too much trouble, not only was the service very efficient the staff made you feel welcome. We also ate in the restaurant for three breakfasts and the service, food quality, staff friendliness and efficiency was excellent. Throughout the day the hotel was busy and welcoming, but they always had enough staff to cater for the demand.
