Lovely property although could do with a deep clean and some maintenance

Barn was spacious, clean, well equipped with a lovely outdoor decking area.

Nice surroundings. Liked the apartment. It was spacious and comfy. Would have been nice to have coffee and tea provided and more than one toilet roll. TV was not working on arrival but it was fixed the next day. No hot water on the last morning of our stay so no shower (we needed to get on the road so didn't want to wait for maintenance to come over and fix it while I was still in our pyjamas!). Breakfast at the onsite restaurant was good but not available on the last day as they don't do breakfasts during the week during quiet periods. Wanted to try the pool but it wasn't available Sunday morning as it was being cleaned and Sunday afternoon it was too busy so gave it a miss.

The lodge was spotless and beautiful. The site was great and the staff were really on the ball! Had a great time

Everything was excellent!

We stayed in an 8 berth “luxury” barn with a roof terrace hot tub. Huge issues with the electrics as whenever the lights for the roof terrace came on the bedroom electrics continuously tripped. This resulted in maintenance turning off the roof lights meaning it was pitch black and dangerous to use the hot tub. The barn smelt like sewage and damp, there was a significant amount of mould on the bedroom curtains and bathroom tiles. Which resulted in us all getting sore itchy throats, coughs and stuffy noses. These resolved on leaving the propert. Such a shame as this was advertised as a 5* property…it certainly is not. The oven was also tiny and not easy to work and they only gave us one key which was annoying. I will say though that I’ve stayed at this resort before and didn’t have any issues. The reception team were so friendly, kind and lovely so this is not a reflection on them.

We stayed in a two bed lodge which was really spacious, clean and comfortable. Staff were all really friendly. Location was extremely convenient. Thoroughly enjoyed our trip!

The accommodation was beautiful. Unfortunately, sone aspects of the property were danaged, such aa the bath panels, which made it look a tad scruffy. We had an issue with our accommodation, but it was handled very well. We were quickly moved to a different lodge and had a free upgrade, which was highly appreciated. The main resturant was ok, friendly staff, but very limited on healthy food options. The pool looked a little dated and not very appealing.

Great Xmas programme on for kids. Well stocked shop, clean leisure facilities. Great staff who couldn’t do enough.

Everything great, even down to real Xmas tree with lights added, really made our break special. Lovely, clean & comfortable lodge, overlooking lake. Perfect. Great check-in, super helpful staff in reception. Amenities on park very good. Overall, a great stay here.
