Everything great, even down to real Xmas tree with lights added, really made our break special. Lovely, clean & comfortable lodge, overlooking lake. Perfect. Great check-in, super helpful staff in reception. Amenities on park very good. Overall, a great stay here.

The accommodation was beautiful. Unfortunately, sone aspects of the property were danaged, such aa the bath panels, which made it look a tad scruffy. We had an issue with our accommodation, but it was handled very well. We were quickly moved to a different lodge and had a free upgrade, which was highly appreciated. The main resturant was ok, friendly staff, but very limited on healthy food options. The pool looked a little dated and not very appealing.

Had a great stay for 5 nights. Staff when booking in were excellent and the accommodation was spacious, well equipped and clean. It was a great location to explore Cornwall and come back to warm and comfortable accommodation. We will definitely stay here again.

A great place to stay. Very relaxing and peaceful with a small lake. The kitchen has everything you need to cook. We stayed in one with a hot tub which was great. In the daylight it feels like it will be overlooked but when it is dark it felt quite private as other places near us didn’t have hot tubs so people weren’t outside. Close to Padstow and the A30, so easy to get to lots of places. We will definitely return

On arriving they are so dog friendly, everyone who saw Bruno was giving loves. It was such a warm welcoming!
Driving down to the lodges was a bit unscenic. There was a lot of building works going on but as soon as you hit the lodges the view changes and it’s gorgeous again.
The lodge is beautiful. There is a few bits that need a bit of attention such as some of the wallpaper in the living room had tiny bits missing, the shower looked a bit outdated at the bottom and there was a couple of chips in the floor. The sofa sets outside were a bit mouldy but I think this could be resolved of a wash and perhaps providing guests with covers to put over during the rain?
The cleanliness of the place though was unmatched. Everything was pristine and the cleaners are constantly about all day.
The sofa was incredibly comfortable and the beds. The bath was fantastic and the facilities in general were lovely. Had a great stay!

Lovely stay at Retallack with our young son and dog. Lodge was well equipped and had modern furnishings, though was beginning to look a little worn in places e.g. Some stains on carpets and sofa etc and a few marks on walls - just a little bit of a refresh and repair required. Only other bit of feedback would be it would be great to have an area to let dogs off lead / have a nice walk around site. Overall however, brilliant accommodation and we had a great stay. Would recommend.

We loved the stair gates at the top and bottom of the stairs. The lodge was lovely and clean. Only issue is we didn’t have a tumble drier and weather was awful so had to put heating on to dry washing which then made us to hot.
Would definitely recommend this lovely place and stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Retallack Resort, the location is great with all the towns and beaches being a short drive away. The accommodation; 2 bedroom Barn was excellent a home from home, modern, clean and very spacious! Our 2 teenagers had plenty of space and our room with ensuite felt very spacious.
We used the swimming pool, gym and tennis courts which were looking a little tired and could do with up-grading but this didnt overly bother us still did the job and a bonus to have on-site.
The bar/restaraunt was great for coffees and drinks - we ate one evening in the restaraunt basic food for the price so decided not to use again - we didnt try breakfast.
The reception staff were extremely helpful and efficient - checking in was quick and very welcoming a good first impression.
A great stay - will stay again!!

Pleasantly surprised as this was a new place for us. The places we usually stay are stunning but due to the wet weather we wanted to opt for somewhere with things the kids could do. The accommodation was fab, very clean and modern. It could have done with a few more kitchen utensils such as a chopping board. My only grumble was the pool is a bit grim, the sides were very dirty and the baby pool was yellow. The sauna was out of action and somebody smashed the steam room door which put the pool out of action due to glass in the water (this couldn’t be helped but still a disappointment) most of the water activities required children to be 8yrs old which ours aren’t so that left us a bit stuck. Most of the evening activities stopped on 31st August so again there wasn’t much for the kids. These weren’t disasters as they aren’t things we would normally have on our holiday but still it would have been nice if there were activities for the kids.
