The hotel never got the booking change from hotels.com. While I appreciate that I was refunded for my hotel, it was a staff party so my staff and I had to wait an hour in the lobby only for everyone to say, you can get a refund in 7-10 business days and rebook now. The disconnect never got fixed and giving me a refund for a room that I can’t stay in that will take 7-10 days to hit my card and asking me to shell out more money (as full price) to get my staff party happen feels exploitative.
