i have stayed in 2 other LSE properties in the past - LSE bankside in 2017 and LSE Rosebery Hall in 2021. i think LSE Carr-Saunders is probably the worse mainly because there was a VERY LONG QUEUE at the restaurant. i waited in line for 30 minutes, the corridor was narrow, the line was moving slow, soo many people for food. Poor crowd control. you should learn from LSE Bankside. their dining hall is spacious and the lines move fast. only 2 lifts but one was not in service, so had to wait a very long time for the one and only lift which was always full at breakfast.

Amazing value for money. Breakfast was actually not bad at all.

Bra, billigt, centralt boende. Lätt kaos på morgnarna när alla ska äta frukost (som ingår, inget fel på den), med långa köer som följd. Annars mycket nöjd.

Absolutely brilliant. Quiet, calm, cool on a hot day. Proper opening window! Desk and chair, coathooks, hangers - all i needed. I like the fact the toilet is *not* in the room - very conveniently located across corridor. Mattress a bit thin and hard is only complaint. Tea bags, milk would have been nice. There's a shared kitchen but i didn't want to take other people's stuff.

These LSE properties should be the first choice for solo travellers on a budget as their value is second to none. The breakfast is excellent, both in quantity and range of food offered. Locations are really good with central London only a short journey away. Staff are friendly and helpful at all times. By definition student accommodation is fairly basic so don't expect pampering or being waited on - the upside to this is don't expect pompous guests or dreadful parents with dreadful children either! .

Great stay in the holidays and fantastic location

OK budget option, great location, with a good choice of breakfast options included. Room was small, and quite a bit of noise from the street coming through the windows. Would only book again if no other option within price range.

Superb alternative to a Central London hotel - good clean room with basic facilities. Includes breakfast, which for the price is amazing given the location. My only minus point was the amount of light that came into the room overnight (bright lights outside), but it's a minor point.

Great location. Well priced. Good breakfast. The only downside was the terrible mattress which was so uncomfortable I slept on the floor instead. It was undoubtedly the cheapest mattress they could possibly buy, and the springs were literally popping through the material cover.

Very very basic in all aspects

Sängarna var väldigt dåliga. Mjuka och absolut av billigaste sorten. Allt annat var som förväntat och helt okej. Väldigt centralt för aktiviteter och i övrigt värt sitt pris. Väldigt bra frukost med alla slags alternativ för olika behov.

The accomodation was clean, comfortable, convenient and affordable. I look forward to returning.

Amazing value for money, its hard to be too critical on a place so well located that charges so little and includes breakfast! Staff are all great, location is an easy walk to soho, breakfast is travelodge style all you can eat. Cant fault it for the money.

It is the location that makes this spot so special. It is just a short walk to the Westend where all musicals are located. Also busses and tube are just a short walk away. Breakfast is very good and a great start for the day.

The rooms are generally functional and relatively well-maintained, though the quality can vary depending on the type of room booked. While the accommodation is convenient, it’s worth noting that the rooms can be a bit small and may feel basic for the price, especially considering London’s high cost of living. Noise can also be an issue for light sleepers, as the building houses many students.
