i have stayed in 2 other LSE properties in the past - LSE bankside in 2017 and LSE Rosebery Hall in 2021. i think LSE Carr-Saunders is probably the worse mainly because there was a VERY LONG QUEUE at the restaurant. i waited in line for 30 minutes, the corridor was narrow, the line was moving slow, soo many people for food. Poor crowd control. you should learn from LSE Bankside. their dining hall is spacious and the lines move fast. only 2 lifts but one was not in service, so had to wait a very long time for the one and only lift which was always full at breakfast.

The room was clean and well spaced for two. Breakfast was good and varied. The only thing I would improve is adequate clothes space in the shared bathrooms. It is extremely inconvenient to change within the confines of the shower cubicle without having a dry spot for clothes. Also I suggest that the bathrooms and showers are cleaned twice a day rather than once mid morning.

The room was good, although it was a little tricky to find the shared bathrooms at first. Breakfast was not worth it, service was slow and the food below average.

朝食付、日替わりでフルーツやヨーグルト、イングリッシュブレックファストの卵料理、ベーコン、ポテト、豆、ソーセージあり。りんごとオレンジジュースにコーヒーマシン。かなり充実、8時からで並んで待つべし、かなり行列になり、品も無くなると補充無いものも。 近隣は治安は良さそうで、複数の地下鉄使用可能。学生の部屋の為、簡素だが広くデスクも大きい。部屋に洗面、クローゼットあり、テレビ無し。シャワートイレ共用で、持っていくと良いものは温泉セットみたいなの、シャワーは固定で水ハネるので脱いだものとカードキーを入れるビニール袋とビーチサンダル。 個室でよく眠れ十分な朝食付、中心部、共用トイレ・シャワーがOKならば2段ベッドでぎゅうぎゅう詰めの所より遥かに良いです。実際、若者よりも家族連れや年配の方も多かった。何かと高いロンドンでコスパは最高かなと思いました。私は2回に分けて計5泊、日を跨いでの荷物預けは不可が残念ですが、荷物部屋に自分で置くだけなのです。数時間なら預けられますが不用心ですね。館内出入りは部屋のカードキー、不審な人ははいれませんけど。 オススメですので、営業している時期なら是非。一人旅の女性でも気後れ無し、無駄なく他にお金を使えました。

Front desk staff / security were friendly but occasionally had to wait for them to finish their personal conversations before being acknowledged. The room was adequate but you should ask for one towards the back of the building because the road noise is excessive. Bed was a bit sunken in at the middle. Bathrooms and shared kitchen were decent but some guests are inconsiderate and filthy. The cleaning staff does the best they can to remedy that. Breakfast was terrible. Cold bland food, disorganized systems, and the staff clearly don’t want to be there. They were snippy and rude for no reason. So I skipped the free breakfast after the first day. Luggage storage I was told wouldn’t be available but then I saw other people storing their luggage, so I don’t know what happened there. Also note that you need to climb a small set of stairs to enter the building which can be tricky with luggage.

Place was super clean and secure. Easy check in process and I was able to keep my luggage secure and explore the city pre check in. Breakfast in the morning was great and amazing value overall.

Kitchen and bathrooms very dated and not particularly clean. Corridor is incredibly loud at all hours of the night and day, the doors all bang shut. Soft close doors would help hugely. Bed very comfortable, room, bedding and towels very clean. Overall a good stay for the price, just the constant disturbances from the corridor doors a slight issue that would be so easy to fix.

I think an extra towel would be helpful, but otherwise it was fine for a night. I'm staying another night this week, but such a good location. I've recommended to all at my job who need a quick, easy and cheap stay. Breakfast was much better than I expected given the price!

Room itself was ok but other facilities were worn down, toilets blocked and only one shower’s lock was functioning. There was a massive queue to the breakfast at 8 am so I wasn’t able to test that.

Perfect location. I used to live in London and transportation-wise, this is the best location of you have a busy schedule.
