Keep in mind they don’t clean or make the bed daily though they empty the trash and provide new towels. Overall it was OK but not great. The folks at the front desk were nice, but seemed disorganized. Our room keys stopped working 4 times during our week long stay and I was told "the colleagues forgot you are staying a week." OK- that explains once, but why did it happen every day? Nothing like coming back after long day sightseeing with sore feet to schlep upstairs and discover your room keys aren't working…. again. Pre-arrival, I received several emails requesting passport information which I explained I didn't want to submit online due to my concerns about sending this private info over email, yet didn't receive any acknowledgement. I'd add that under UK law, we aren't required to send in passport info and we may request our passports aren't photocopied. My friend ordered some things to be sent to the hotel, confirmed ahead of time this was OK with them, but was also told her packages didn't arrive even though they had. Not a big deal since she eventually received them, but still she shouldn't have had to check and recheck 2 days in a row. Location was good- close to borough Market and London Bridge tube stop. Close to the Tate Modern. They had an in room combo washer and dryer and occasionally there was no hot water in the main bathroom shower, but we had an extra bathroom so I used that one. Overall it was a meh deal and I'll stay elsewhere next time.
