Initiatives towards SDGs:
In October 2019, we received the Gold Standard from ACEF (Asian Captive Elephant Standards), which means that our elephants are receiving the best possible care.

Main Initiatives 1. In recent years, deforestation has been occurring in Sumatra, Indonesia, and wild elephants are losing their habitat. The only way to save them is to protect them. Mason's goal is to make them feel as comfortable as possible, as if they were in their homeland. Elephants are also bred in Taro Village, which I think helps prevent their extinction.
*Baby elephants drink their mother's milk until they are about three years old, and when they stop breastfeeding, they can be given soft foods such as papaya, bananas, pineapples, and sweet potatoes. For the first few weeks, veterinarians will be on hand almost every day to care for the baby and its mother, and for the first few years, they will need more vitamins/nutritional supplements and vitamin injections than adults.
2) Elephant dung is reused as fertilizer.
As part of sustainable tourism, they recycle waste and educate staff about environmental issues.
③A portion of the tour fee is used to cover the cost of elephant care and feeding, and is also donated to an elephant conservation fund in Sumatra, Indonesia.
