- Spot Introduction -

・Wat Saman/Pink Ganesha
Rats of different colors for each day of the week are placed around the large, imposing pink Ganesha. It is said that rats are messengers of the elephant god, and if you choose a rat of the color of your birthdate, cover one ear and whisper your wish into the other, the rat will convey your wish to Ganesha. Pink Ganesha is believed to remove all obstacles, so it is worshipped when starting a new business, and is also believed to ward off disasters and improve financial luck.

Wat So Thong is the second most visited temple in Thailand after the Temple of the Emerald Buddha in Bangkok and Wat Phra Kaew. It is the only royal temple in Chachoengsao Province and is classified as a third-class royal temple, meaning that it is a temple built by ordinary people and certified by the royal family. The main hall, made of white marble and characterized by its palace-like pointed Mondop roof, is a Rattanakosin-style building that was completed in 1996 by order of the current King.

It is said that in 1985, when the temple was demolished and they tried to remove the Buddha statue, some of the plaster came off, revealing the golden Buddha.

・Wat Saket (Golden Mount)
Climbing the 344 steps of the spiral staircase, you will reach the top of the 80m-high Golden Hill. The golden pagoda at the top is said to house the Buddha's relics. The view of Bangkok from the 360-degree corridor is amazing! The contrast between the golden pagoda and the blue sky is a must-see!

Wat Paknam is famous for its white pagoda with an emerald-colored stupa, which can only be seen here in Thailand. The highlight is on the fourth floor.
