Great location, 5 minutes from esplanade and lagoon pool and dozens of resturants. Spacious modern room. Bit hi tech - took me20 minutes to find the safe and several hours to work out howto turn off the light to the tea/ fridge area! The on site food was a bit basic, I arrived keen for lunch and menue was limited and expensive but all in all a great stay.

The day we stayed there was no water in the building, from 2pm to 9pm. Water bottles were provided for drinking. The room cost $270 and Crystalbrook Bailey should have taken compensation up with the Cairns Council and offered customers a refund/credit option. Very disappointed and will not stay at Crystalbrook again. Very poor customer service.

Sparkling clean and fresh. Beautiful decor. Friendly staff. Great service. The perfect place for our girls’s weekend.

This property was very quiet and central to town. We really enjoyed our stay, though we were randomly allocated a wheelchair friendly room which did not include the bathtub as pictured.

Hotel in a great location, walkable to everything in Cairns, a block from the Esplanade. Nice clean and quiet rooms. Always appreciate refillable toiletries as a sustainable measure, especially when they are of decent quality. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and body lotion all with a refreshing scent. The Mexican restaurant alongside the pool had great happy hour and cocktail specials. Decent coffee from the onsite coffee shop. During my stay, a fault by Cairns Water left the property without water for the majority of the day. The staff handled all queries with patience and friendliness, despite being under a lot of pressure from something out of their control. Also appreciated the offer of free breakfast for the remainder of my stay as a gesture to make up for the less than ideal experience. Only minor complaint would be the pool on level 3 was smaller than some pictures suggest. It is also fully in the shade after around 2pm in the afternoon, and with the breeze felt at that level, it doesn't make for ideal swimming conditions, even when the temperatures outside are in the high 20s. Something very minor though, and I should note that I was always able to find a lounger, although during peak season this may be more of an issue.

Convenient to the city, walking distance as when we found a parking space we kept our car there

The front desk was kind and gave options for places to go visit during our time there. The room was really nice with different light settings. The pool was cold but a nice area with a taco place that had great drinks and food!
