The hotel was cheap and at short notice so we weren't picky. The room was small, tired and very limited in both wifi and actual electrical outlets to charge devices. The shower door didn’t close properly, the toilet rim was putrid and there were 2 attempts to sell us timeshare which we declined. Trying to sell a timeshare while accommodating you in a terrible room is not the smartest move. The pool was the only nice part of the hotel but scanning in and out without clearly marked signage of where to scan was confusing

The room was not ready at time of check-in. It was half an hour late. Was given 4 drink vouchers after expressing I was not happy about having to wait with food that needed to be refrigerated. The room was lovely and clean.The beds are good quality but way too soft. I really wish I had booked an ocean view room because we couldn't sit out on the balcony as it was too hot with the aircon motors there, no breeze and traffic noise. After the first night I enquired about the cost to upgrade to an ocean view for the remaining 2 nights but $200 seemed a lot considering the price difference of the rooms online was $30. Restaurant staff are friendly and polite. The reception staff are not very friendly. At checkout they just said ok that's it. Didn't even ask how my stay was.

Staff were amazing, comfortable room and great facilities. Definitely book here again.

Location was close to some shopping but some stores were permanently closed, limited exterior parking.

great beachfront venue with a great pool and good facilities

The unit on the 6th floor had a number of maintenance items that need to be fixed including sliding doors to the decks of 2 bedrooms not able to be locked and the lounge area and main bedroom not able to be opened. The aircon unit was in the lounge and the bedrooms relied on ceiling fans to cool them (which was not very successful). A well-located unit with a roof terrace and good sea views, a short walk past the pool to the beach front reserve and beach access. Also, a short walk to an excellent coffee shop (Cuba Street)

Loved the king sized bed, as was expecting a double so was a nice surprise. We both slept very well as it was extremely comfortable including the pillows. Close to lots of amenities with cafes across the road

I was not expecting much after reading the reviews. It was honestly fine except the cleanliness. Maybe there isn’t enough time allocated for the cleaning? The pool is awesome. Location is great!

The aircon did not work - was offered a fan for the duration. The room was tired and old. Lots of things were substandard

Great spot for a getaway where you can park the car and walk everywhere. You are away from bustle of the busyness of sunny coast but it’s just a short drive to Maroochydore

We only stayed one night. It was better than expected. Can't fault it. We stayed in a two bedroom unit. It was huge. You could eaisly live there.

This is an older hotel but is a great location right on the beach with a nice pool. Great family hotel or if you want something a little less expensive. The staff was super friendly and helpful.

The first night I was put into what looked like a lovely room. However I had a shower and the door came off the rollers and jammed with me in there unable to get out. I had no one with me and I couldn’t reach a phone. It was pretty scary. I eventually managed to get the door open enough to squeeze out. The rollers were busted. Not happy. They moved me to another room. It was old and musty, and the TV remote didn’t work in that room all week although I reported it several times. I know that the apartments are privately owned and that the Ramada has no control over them, but for the considerable sum of money I paid I expected better than that.

On entering the room we were met with the aroma of cotton candy which we discovered came from a plug-in, in an attempt to disguise the stench of stale cigarette smoke. FYI - Smoking on the balcony is permitted. Furniture was mismatched and shabby which only added to the sad and depressing feel provided by the dark grey paint of the doorway. The 1000 watt lightbulbs in the bedside lamps, which were blinding and only highlighted the dust, grime and fluff on surfaces all around the room. The bathroom had a very unusual layout. The shower was cramped with poor water pressure and I was able to look out onto people on their balconies whilst sitting on the toilet. Unfortunately, I had been duped by the photos and reviews on the website as this Queen room looked NOTHING like any of the images online. On departure, the receptionist did not even say ‘Did you enjoy your stay’ which I would have thought was a basic courtesy. On a positive note……. the beach is magnificent and the steak sandwich at the surf club was delicious.

Staff were lovely, and rooms were clean - however a little ‘tired’ - bathroom bench was a strange surface that looked wet/dirty very easily and there was no place to rest the bar of soap on. Ceiling needed a repaint. Lovely little balcony which did have a very enjoyable view of the ocean, so pleased to be able to see that. Facilities are very basic, but had all the essentials. Mattress on bed was not comfortable for me (too hard/somewhat lumpy) but suited my husbands tastes. I found the pillows awful - fine to look at but either lumpy or too soft when trying to sleep on them. Best thing was the location so very close to the beach - and there is a very cool tapas bar across the road and down the street a bit - not much to look at but great vibe, great live music on the Fr & Sat nights and food was really good.

Comfortable and affordable. Somewhat dated and could certainly use some TLC but overall good value for money in an ideal location.
