Bedroom with lounge was perfect, we opted for no serviced room and this was great for us. Just missing some teaspoons and would love a couple of mugs, but so minor and we loved our stay. Central to the promenade Crown casino and walkable to many major sites, MCG, Rod Laver Tennis, Lanes, China town just to name a few

The staff were very helpful, the location and price were great. The pool and sauna were also very nice. We had a great stay.

Staff are friendly, slow to check in due not enough staff, overall a great stay, restaurant meal was excellent highly recommend.

The lifts were too slow but nice place

On-site parking was available. Room was large and had a well equipped modern kitchen. King size bed in separate room. Very quiet location.

PROs: Great location for walking to the John Cain Arena, apartment was clean and neat. Comfortable beds and good pressure in the showers. Enough space to not be on top of each other. Close to Woolworths- 3 minute walk. CONs: if you plan to self cater you will struggle. We had booked for 3 people, my daughter was ill and didn’t come which was lucky as there was only 2 knives and 2 drinking glasses, 3 side plates in an apartment that could sleep 4. No chopping board, no sharp knives, no oven trays and no plugs for either of the sinks. No hairdryer in the bathrooms so don’t wash your hair in the Melbourne winter! TIP- there’s a great little Indian restaurant behind the hotel “Southbank Spices”. Very decent serving size and nice curries.

The hotel had old, musty-smelling carpet throughout, which was disappointing. However, the staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant food was average. On the plus side, the location is very convenient and close to everything

Drier in room did not work! Left us with 3 bags of wet cloths asked several times to have it looked at. We were given a. Voucher for breakfast for compensation but was charged for voucher on check out

Very dirty and unkept I know it’s a budget hotel but f me needs a lick of paint and more general cleanliness standards. The gym is good. The pool is disingenuous. The lift is slow

Well located on the edge of Southbank entertainment strip. Well sized and appointed rooms with good views.

Our room wasn’t ready so we were given another room. The room was filthy, mould in the bathroom, marks all over the walls, hair on the carpet, blinds didn’t work. The entire room needed a deep clean and a lot of maintenance. No washing detergent or cloths to wash dishes, no dishwashing detergent for the dishwasher. The washing machine didn’t work either. We spoke to reception about the washing machine and they offered to wash for us which was nice. Overall very disappointing, the cleanliness was terrible!

If you have a car then parking is a nightmare , the hotel provided parking cost is extremely high and there are not many good alternatives close to this hotel. Hotel Bed was terribly uncomfortable and pillows not good so the sleeping experience a 2 out of 10. The rest of the apartment met expectations.

I have stayed in the past, however this time I was surprised at how rundown and dirty it was! Not only was the room dirty, but they also hadn't taken the time to even straightened up lamps and chairs that are falling apart. Art has been removed from walls, yet they haven't bothered to clean the walls, a visible dirty outline remains. Sadly, I recommended this hotel on my past experience only to be told, they had less then great experience and would not be staying there again. (EG Pool of blood on mattress that had been flipped to cover it. however, mattress toper was not one you can turn over it didn't feel right, so they investigated it. only to be horrified at the find. This was the second room they had been moved to due to uncleanliness. Breakfast wait was over 1 1/2 hour wait in the restaurant. We were not asked about our stay on check out, and we didn't bother as we overheard them talking about the number of complaints they already had. We will not be recommending or coming back.
