We had a great stay in Lucky Bansko! The staff was polite and always smiling, rooms were cleaned daily and complementary water bottles restocked and little treats left in the evening to enjoy before bed. The facilities are really good, the spa is maintained well, parking is big so there was never any issue with finding a space, a ski storage is also available with heated ski boot drying system. The best part is the shuttle to the ski slopes (additional charge) which saves hours queueing for the gondola lift.
There was one small issue during our stay: we requested an iron in the evening prior to our new years eve party but all the irons were taken by the guests, so we were advised there could be a wait time of 5-10 min. After 1 hour of waiting and asking multiple times, the reception staff told us there is nothing they can do as they don't know where the irons are and they have advised the guests to return them but no one had. As a result we had to go out with creased outfits to a formal event. To avoid disappointment in the future, I would advise management to purchase more irons, or make a log of where the irons are and request these back after a certain time.

Amazing hotel with fancy suites (two rooms). The rooms are very clean, and every day every guest gets a chocolate ball, and water bottle. The hotel is at the entrance to Bansko a 5-minute drive from the entrance to the Old Center. The hotel has free nearby parking. Not all staff speaks English but everyone is eager to help. Breakfast is rich and very good. There is a spa center, which includes a heated pool, hot tub and saunas.

Unfortunately we were disappointed. The room it's too overpriced. For the price of 200 euros per night you can find a lot of better hotels in Bansko at half price. The hotel doesn't look for a 5 star hotel. The room doesn't look like the photos it's too basic like a 2,3 star room hotel and the mattress was too cheap I wake up with backpains. The worst thing was the stuff espessialy at the reception. Unhappy persons who doesn't want to help you, they barely speak English and they don't explain to you anything about the hotel and the facilities you have already paid. The only positive things are the breakfast and the cleanliness of the hotel. The spa was OK but the rooms of sauna and steam bath were too small for 2 persons only. You can find even in 3 star hotels spa's triple in size.

Nice, clean rooms and facilities. Buffet breakfast during the weekend was great, it's a shame it wasn't available on Monday where a la carte with significantly smaller choice was offered. Spa closes too early - at 8pm so if you like evening massage they book 6 or 7pm latest which I personally find weird - too early to eat before massage, too relaxed to dress up to go out and eat after. Services should be at least until 10pm.

Everything was great with the stay from the room to the frequent shuttle service. Unfortunately I had a ski accident on 31st Dec, which meant not being able to leave the room as per Doctor's instructions. The reception staff didn't show any empathy to find us some dinner on NYE since we couldn't leave the hotel. We tried ordering room service, asking the reception to see if they have any no-shows at one of the 3 restaurants or any places we might be able to order some take out. They simply said they can not help us in anyway here. We had expected a better service from a 5 star hotel when it comes to unforeseen incidents such as this one.
