Banff Inn

Awesome hot tub facility, with steam & sauna rooms, except towels should be in the area, not at the front desk. We had a loft room with three double beds and it was very comfortable for our family. Very friendly staff The Parkade also fits a regular half ton pick up, which is nice

The staff is so lovely and accommodating. We really enjoyed the hot tub after skiing every day. Would stay again!

Cancellation policy is the stupidest thing ever. Roads were really really dangerous to drive on so I had to cancel my stay 24 hours in advance AND THEY STILL CHARGED THE FULL PRICE OF THE ROOM. That is just ridiculous even a small cancellation fee would have been understandable but the full price even though I gave over a days notice is just ridiculous.

The room was comfortable, the bed comforter was fluffy and warm, the jacuzzi was great, and the underground parking was great in the snow. The staff were very helpful and friendly too!

The room was a bit dirty, felt like we were always stepping on something. The toilet bowl was not cleaned, the outside of it looked like the toilet had water lines from overflow. The beds and pillows were great!

Rooms were great. Staff was friendly. My only negative is the restaurant is only open for dinner

My stay at the Banff Inn was good. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable (although my husband found it a bit too soft). The front desk staff were polite and professional. One point to note is that parking was not included; the hotel description mentioned that parking was available, but did not specify that it required payment. This was fine for me, but paid underground parking may be inconvenient for some guests. Additionally, the hotel is a bit far from most of Banff’s shops, restaurants, and commercial areas. It’s within walking distance — about a 15-minute walk from the start of the main commercial area — but it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer to be closer (or during winter, that walk in a -25 degree Celsius can be challenging - in our case :D ). Overall, my experience was positive. I would recommend the Banff Inn and would consider staying there again in the future.

Nothing like the picture, the real property is a better version of a motel, but the price was fair.

I was charged for two nights and only stayed for one. There was an issue with the timezone when booking and I booked incorrectly. This was booked while in transit from Atlantic Canada so my fault but was disappointing Expedia wouldn't do anything about it. It was booked 10pm for the night of the booking instead of the next day. They wouldn't change it. I will reconsider using Expedia for bookings in the future given the customer service.
