Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sudbury

The staff was so welcoming and so friendly. Two issues that we had was the room smelled musty they We highly recommend and they. took the breakfast away early. However, we highly recommend and we would stay there again

We have always stayed at this hotel and it’s been great. Unfortunately this time we had to deal with hockey teams at the hotel and it was terrible. Breakfast was a nightmare, pool was overcrowded and the kids were relentless. It was not the fault of the staff it was the parents who did not control their children. I know at one point a child was rolling down the hall in a room chair pushed by others.And the noise continued at 4am and to our knowledge the front desk had to call the police. Not sure it will be on our list of hotel choices anymore. I remember hockey trips when our children were younger and they would not have acted like that.

My belongings were stolen by staff and hidden. I was delayed to leave and when i mentioned i would report to police then suddenly they found my belongings.

Cigarette butts all over the ground outside the main entrance and dog poop all over on the far side of the building

The location is about 10-15 minutes from Laurentian University which was the reason for our visit. The free breakfast was convenient to have provided. The location of the hotel is surrounded by nearby options for dining and shopping.

The front desk staff were rude. The thermostat in my room didn’t work was set at 25 could not lower it. The TV was broken asked to change rooms they said they couldn’t do that. The vending machine machines didn’t work.. The cleaning staff were friendly, but would try not to stay here again

I always enjoy staying here as it's pet friendly and staff is always friendly. Rooms are always clean and having a hot tub was the best amenity to have. Altho I wish the jets in it were better. It was closed for renos for a while but found the hot tub jets not as good as they were prior to the remodel. But will not stop me from going there again :-)

The hotel was conveniently located near the venue we were in Sudbury for, and close to most of the other facilities we visited. The breakfast options were far greater than what we thought would be available and was staffed by a friendly and helpful woman. Otherwise, staff did not seem interested to greet us in the halls or at reception (other than first and last point of contact) as we came and left the building. The entire building was very "aromatic" the first night of our stay, but the scent was clear the following day. The bedroom was relatively clean, with comfortable beds, but it can use some dusting throughout and the shower tile had orange/pink slime building in the corners. The wi-fi connection was poor, but overall that was not a major concern for us. Had we physically been at the hotel more during our stay in Sudbury, the pool would have been a plus.

Great and easy place to stay. I think they should do more regular maintenance in the rooms though (for little things).

Housekeeping crew pushed us in a very rude manner to vacate the room.

Bathroom was dirty. Hair in the tub and dirt heavy in the corners I don’t have long black hair. Photos wouldn’t all load

This location in Sudbury needs to get rid of the air freshener in the lobby. It's a terrible chemical smell. The toiletries we're not filled up. Some had no.Shampoo & no body wash

We booked the hotel because it has a pool and hot tub. When we arrived we were informed the pool area was closed for renovations. At no point was this noted on our reservation. A discount should have been provided and of course wasn't.
