Très bon service

Very tidy and clean. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Good location.

Everywhere inside the hotel is extremely cold. I woke up in the middle of the night several times because of the too low room temperature. Everywhere is uncomfortable to stay because it’s cold. The heater in the room is showing 30 degrees, but I think it’s not Celsius but Fahrenheit. I walked around the city all day long, getting tired under the cold winter weather , but because the hotel is also cold, I was constantly tired. I woke up having a soar throat. I kept shivering in the hotel. I understand the carbon emission things that hotel wants to prioritize, but it’s a serious health concern for me.

Room was very hot and couldn’t change it, long wait to use bathroom, staff not very friendly and welcoming on arrival compared to previous experience at the other hostel round the corner. Breakfast and kitchen facilities were good and overall everything was clean. Large room and bed with good storage space.

Welcoming staff. I stayed in an 8 person room. The room was okay, the curtain left something to be desired. It offered privacy but peeking eyes could see. Bed was okay for comfort. Lockers were suitable for a backpack and a few personal items. Each bed had a plug socket and light. Location is good for walking places, local homeless were not a problem

Das Hostel war für unseren Zweck völlig ok. Nur der angepriesene Balkon ist von Tauben bewohnt und völlig verkotet. Toll war die Ausstattung der Küche, so konnte abends gekocht werden- super. Ausserdem ein Kühlschrank und Sckrankdepot für eigene Lebensmittel. So eine grosse Vielfalt an jungen Leuten lennen gelernt. Eine positive Erfahrung.

I am very grateful for whatever reasons the staff gave me a private room (with shared bathroom) instead. I was sick and needed to work till late mid-night during my stay (till 4am!) - so glad that I could rest well and finished my work without having to disturb others. Thank you SO MUCH for that! The staff are very nice and friendly! Could be better if they can offer a hand to at least open the door when visitors need to enter the building with big luggage, if not giving a helping hand to move it up or down. There are few things people should pay attention to though: 1. While hostel is designed for backpackers, who would think to put the luggage storage area to basement? When you check out, first you take your luggage downstairs, take another extra little stairs after getting out of the building to reach the reception, then the reception tells you sorry, the luggage storage area is downstairs. Please take your luggage up that little stairs, open the door, and take it one floor down (stairs again)! 😂 if you have big luggage, you may consider other places to stay 😂 2. Kingston is definitely a “lively” neighbourhood - with cannabis users enjoying their time right outside the hostel. As a solo female traveller, that freaks me out a little but i dont have much problem with it. Just thought maybe good for others to know. 3. The bath area is separate by a bath curtain inside the female bathroom. People can see you from the mirror. Other than these, I am v happy with my stay!
