Really nice hotel. All the staff i spoke to were very friendly, with some banter and chat to make me feel right at home. The hotel is a short walk from the town centre. Nicely decorated and spotlessly clean. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. The hotel is right on the side of a massive park/green. Nice location.

The Superior Double room we booked for two nights was clean and comfortable although the sound proofing between rooms was non-existent - conversation as well as the tv in the adjacent room could easily be heard.
All the staff we met were friendly and efficient. There was a large group of children (possibly a sports team) also staying in the hotel and the accompanying adults were content to ignore their noisy and unruly behaviour whilst in the hotel and grounds. Obviously this lack of concern for other guests is not the fault of the management

We had to move room as the basin was leaking. Quickly resolved in a friendly manner. New room ok, slightly concerned by scaffolding outside the window!
New rooms bathroom also 'tired' and in need of update.
All staff very friendly.
Good breakfast.

On the plus side we asked for a quiet room on a higher floor and we got that.
The room was very battered and lots of stains on the carpet.
Poor shower that was leaking from the ceiling.
There was a safe in the room but it was locked and no instructions, we reported to reception who said someone would be up to unlock it. Next day we reported it again only to be told to that all rooms are like that "we are refurbishing and will no longer offer safest, so we've closed them all up now"...what ??? Why lock them now ??
The wheels on the luggage trolley are all perished and falling apart.
Was probably a nice hotel once but it has been left to rot.
About 25 minutes walk in to town which was ok for us but may be too far for some.
Didn't eat there.

The hotel was lovely, we enjoyed it and we had a meal in the Amber restaurant which was also lovely although the menu was a little overcomplicated for my taste, and as a lifelong vegetarian I really don't want fake steak or any kind of fake meat. We thought the staff were lovely. It is really central you can walk anywhere from this hotel.

Cedar Court hotel was excellent for our stay. We had a spacious room and everything from check in to departure was to our liking. Admittedly there was an extremely large event on and there was about 300 people in the bar area from about 6.30 until 7.30 when they went to their private room. The bar was busy but the staff seemed to be coping. It would of been nice to have been informed before or at checkin. It didnt affect our evening but some people may have found it overwhelming.

Easy to find, close enough to the city centre to walk there and enjoy the surroundings but far enough away so its relaxing to sleep. Staff are amazing and friendly. Rooms are nice and clean. Restaurant was quality and we really enjoyed our breakfasts and evening meal. Only negative was the bed wasn’t that comfortable.

We have stayed many places in Harrogate and of them all, Cedar Court has provided for us everything that we would expect in terms of welcome, hospitality, surroundings, comfort, accessibility and customer service.
In an age when hotel lounges seem to be shrinking, Cedar Court offers the finest in comfort, attractive surroundings and spaciousness.
Ambers restaurant is spectacular where old world and modern decor is a feast to the eye. And the menu offers a wide selection of meals that we have not found anywhere else on our stays in Harrogate. Cuisine at its best. We have only found this standard in 5 star hotels.
Thus was our second visit to the hotel and the future, we will never stay anywhere else when we visit Harrogate.
