Modern, clean, comfortable. Highly recommend!

Lovely spacious room, great breakfast

Rather disappointing as we are regular users of this hotel. The grouting in the bathroom particularly armour the shower controls was very black mouldy and needed urgent attention, this was not the standard we have seen in the past.

Stayed for one night on the way to Cornwall. We had family interconnecting rooms. Very clean and to a high standard felt brand new! Friendly staff on reception. Nice breakfast. Very nice hotel. Those that compared it to a Premier Inn, I’d love to know which one?!! Just stayed at one and it was awful in comparison! Definitely recommend.

Lovely hotel

Modern, clean, large comfy bed. Great spot for an overnight stay to break up a journey given so close to the motorway.

Had a very good stay but we had one issue. The whole water pressure in the bathroom was awful, not easy at all to have a nice shower. The shower head also was leaking.

The property was what I would expect from the brand. However, as nice as the room was, tne air-conditioning didn't work and I believe the management already knew that but placed us there anyway. A day later, when bringing the matter to the attention of the day manager, we were offered another room which we took and all was fine then. The junior suite is especially nice for 3 people. The sofabed mattress was very comfortsble. The main drawback, and this a big one, is that there is opaque glass instead of drywall in the bathroom which is not at all apprpriate for privacy. I was told that many guests have had the same complaint and corporate has been notified of this. We solved the problem by requesting an extra bed sheet and a roll of heavy duty tape. It was easy to hang up on the glass and made us feel much more comfortable. A very poor design choice by Marriott!

Only negative is breakfast could be better .

Everything from the start to the finish with this hotel was a great experience. Nice room, comfy bed. Good food and selection at breakfast. Was lovely sitting out on the rooftop terrace. Was spotlessly clean.

Very nice hotel. Would come again

The staff in this hotel without exception were all very very personable and proud to be part of their team. Never quite encountered such a genuine group. Don’t forget to give the succulents a little water in the bar restaurant though!

Lack of water in the rooms and limited amount of tea and coffee, for two people. Whilst I understand the need to cut back on extras like this, these are the little things that make the stay special. Impressed by all the staff who greeted us nicely whenever within their space.

A very nice hotel with great comfortable rooms, loads of parking and the breakfasts are great.

Fantastic view for breakfast and. Dry comfy chairs. Good breakfast but fruit disappointing - this was kept by the open kitchen - fruit looked dry and unappetising- not much of it either. Staff were super friendly and bent over backwards to make a difference- especially reception lady and staff in bar where food served - chef made tartar sauce from scratch for me as they didn’t have any pre bought!

More coffee and milk in the rooms. 2 sachets of milk and coffee per day is miserly.
