Courtyard by Marriott Exeter Sandy Park

Great stay, an ideal logic you are there for the rugby, as it's just across the car park, allowing you to park right next to the game. The bar on the top floor is lovely with great views. Good selection for the buffet breakfast Definitely recommend.

We could not turn off or increase the temperature on the air con in our room. All night it was really and really noisy

Great stay. Restaurant on the top level was very good. Food in the bar wasn’t so great. Good gym. Overall a very pleasant stay.

The hotel is modern and clean. The air con was not working in our room and beung unable to open the windows, the room was very hot. I was unable to ring reception to report the issue becase the phone in the toom was not working either, so I had to use my mobile to ring in externally. The staff offered to try to re set the aircon from reception but this did not work. Half an hour later and after a further phonecall, a member of staff bought a stand alone fan to the room. A very disappointing experience overall given the very high cost of the room for one night and the resultant delay in being able to go to sleep.

We stayed for one night and unfortunately were quite disappointed with our experience. The air conditioning in our room was not working, which made it extremely hot and uncomfortable, especially as there were no windows that could be opened for ventilation. The bar staff were also very unhelpful. They seemed reluctant to serve customers and repeatedly told us they had run out of ingredients for mocktails. The overall service felt poor and unwelcoming. To top it off, I ordered a cappuccino, and it was honestly one of the worst coffees I have ever had. Overall, this was not the standard I would expect from a Marriott hotel.

We love the hotel and had a comfort stay, everything good, friendly staff, new, clean, spacious room, clean, modern toilet with good valuation, nice breakfast. The only thing is above our room is the restaurant and we heard noise of people walking around and trolley pulling around even in mid night.

The hotel is nice, room are OK, but there is something wrong with management. Our room was very hot and either they did not want to do anything about, or they couldn't. Breakfast was great, but two people are not able to maintain it. There was so much mess, it was impossible to find a clean table. My room was cleaned to times out of five. Sorry, but I don't recommend this hotel to other travellers.

I liked how they had a buffet and it was luxurious but in one room the AC wasn’t working.

Hotel, amenities, rooms and staff are pretty amazing. Only downside- breakfast- very average. Hardly any choice and the queue for the food is quite long. It wasn't that bad, it’s just not good breakfast. Fairly average.

Breakfast was terrible. Too few staff. Coffee machine needed attention, no croissants, tray of fresh fruit needed filling. No clean tables. The staff were running around trying to help everyone. Needs looking at

Very comfortable quiet room. Staff helpful and friendly Only issue was we were misinformed on arrival about the restaurant to have our evening meal. I asked for directions to the restaurant at reception and we were directed to the one around the corner. The meal was dreadful and not what we wanted. My husband ended up with a burger which was inedible and I ate about a third of a curry. We were not told about The View restaurant on the top floor. Next morning we went up to The Veiw restaurant and enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Such a difference. I mentioned this issue when we checked out and the lady on reception was very apologetic and was going to look into the matter.

Stay was very comfortable. Good food and drink. The View from The View is excellent.

Very good breakfast. Sausuages very nice. 2 comments for improvement. 1 x Conveyor toaster is not enough when busy, please invest in another. My colleague requested poached eggs and he was met with an abrupt we do Fried or Scrambled. Felt the chef could have been a bit more accomodating.

Room was great apart from tea and coffee, one tea bag each and one milk each plus no bottle of water, if you are in a supposedly superior room you should expect at least a bottle of water and enough tea and coffee for a couple of drinks each.

Room nice and clean .Breakfast was really good nice selection. Bar good choice of beverages
