Good location for the Exel centre. Great breakfast (I love the waffle maker). Comfy bed but mattress kept slipping around. Blackout curtains could be longer. My shower was blocked so had to keep it short to avoid flooding the bathroom! To be fair, I’m sure they would have given me a different room if I’d asked but I was only staying one night anyway

Good location, room looking tired, light switch not working, needs more power sockets. Bed squeaky and uncomfortable in places. Great you can pick your own room. Why do you need my passport details to get a room key when I am a UK resident staying in a UK hotel?. Only reason I stayed above other hotels was that an excellent breakfast was included

Decent place, with pleasant helpful staff. Clean and fairly quiet. The gym is pretty small, and food is only ok, and like everything in the area, it isn't cheap, but there is helpful, not overpriced parking. A good choice in the area, all told.

The hotel room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and a great shower. We had evening food in the bar a couple of evenings. Food was ok - luke warm the first night, better on the second night - but nothing special - but very convenient as not many dining options in the area. Breakfast was ok. The water supply to the whole hotel was broken on our third morning - so could not take a shower, use the taps or flush the toilet. Not great!

Das Hotel ist laut und ungemütlich. Rs gab einen stundenlangen Ausfall der Wasserversorgung. Duschen, Zähneputzen unmöglich, Toiletten waren unbenutzbar. Das Personal hat das Problem nicht erklärt und das Management hat sich nicht entschuldigt. Erst auf Nachfrage kam überhaupt eine Reaktion.

Hotel was ok, in a decent area near the tube stop. We were staying for 2 nights and we couldn’t have a shower or even flush the toilet after the first night as there was no water, this also affected breakfast the next morning as there was no drinks available at all. This cannot be helped and I completely understand but we didn’t have an apology or any communication regarding this. Luckily the water was fixed and we were able to shower in the evening. The reception staff were polite but the staff at breakfast were exceptionally rude, there was one lady, called Rosi I believe, that was polite. I would avoid this hotel in future. We went for the weekend to celebrate our daughter’s birthday and i felt it tainted the day a little.

They stole my wedding ring from my room 170 on April 12, 2025. I gave the key in reception and when i notice that I was not wearing my ring I returned to the hotel inmmidately. Somebody was in the room and the ring wasn't any more. I had pictures the night before wearing the ring. I sepent one one night i thet hotel and they gave me a disable room.

Clean and Comfortable place to stay for 1 night we stayed!

Great location next to Excel, City Airport and Docklands. Easy 5.min walk to DLR (check service disruption for weekends). Nice modern bathroom, comfy bed. Did have a slight issue with lights being temperamental but ultimately did not cause us issue as in the morning, reported to front desk. Breakfast is plentiful, lots of options,.Sausages a bit bland but loved the waffle machines. Some of the breakfast staff a little abrupt but I guess they have to deal with all sorts of people. Would recommend hotel at the right price

Grundsätzlich absolut in Ordnung & man kann hier gut einige Tage für einen Städtetrip verbringen. Recht außerhalb, aber die Bahn ist direkt um die Ecke & die Übernachtung ist dafür preislich gut. Den City-Airport hat man vom Zimmer aus nicht gehört. Das Bad war sauber. Das Bett war allerdings echt sehr hart & die Klimaanlage ging leider nicht. Auf Nachfrage wurde sich sofort gekümmert. Am nächsten Tag ging sie allerdings wieder nicht. Das Frühstück war eine 6/10. Das ist aber nur mein persönlicher Geschmack. Bin in Deutschland vermutlich zu verwöhnt ;-)

We had a nice room, in the corner overlooking the dock. The aircon had been disabled, and I had to argue to get it turned back on. The worst thing though was the mattress, which was really uncomfortable, creaked every time you moved, and felt like it should be replaced. Room 433

Good hotel for girls weekend away - concert at the o2. Location not great but still felt safe. Just needed a taxi in the evening to get about but walking fine in the day. Hotel clean and welcoming - room just what we needed. Breakfast fine.

Staff are THEIFS and LIARS. Items stolen from room and reception “guarantee” staff don’t take them as the staff are searched! Lie to you repeatedly. Customer service is awful. Would give it a miss.

Nice and clean close to excel centre

Lovely hotel inside but unfortunately not a nice spot with so much building/road works around. Hopefully not much longer to put up with that. The staff are lovely and helpful and they keep a very clean well run hotel. Breakfast was fine, lots of choice. Price was reasonable.
