Yes great stay great staff

Great stay. Breakfast was lovely, with a wide and varied choice of items. The room was very cosy, and the hotel is bang in the town centre, so very convenient for all that has Darlington has to offer.

Clean and comfortable room, friendly staff and enjoyable breakfast.

I stayed in room 329 from 19 September - 22 September. There was no showerhead installed in the bathroom so I couldn't take a shower for the entirety of my stay. When I asked about it I was told that I should have been informed that the room was bath only at check-in, but I wasn’t and was given no alternative options. I was told I should receive some sort of refund and though I directly emailed management through the email address I was given by reception, I heard nothing back. I reached out to Accor, who told me they also contacted management, and never heard back from them. Finally I escalated to communicating with Expedia directly, who reached out to the hotel, and management refused to issue any refund at all, despite me being told by two different employees that I would receive some sort of compensation. It's incredibly frustrating that someone not having access to a shower for 72 hours has just been deemed as a non-issue.

Room was clean & comfortable. Would like a south facing room next time.

Good for a one nights stay for work in Darlington

Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. Excellent value for money. There is a car park however it is small and tight. We parked in DL1 about a 10 minute walk. Not a problem to us. Standard room has everything and decent size. We will use this hotel again.

Limited Parking at the hotel but only 5mins walk away 24hr under cover parking for £10 for 24hrs

Really could do with a bigger sign to show car park entrance. Parking prices show £20 per night for hotel guests where its actually £5, when you get to reception. Some of the carpet on the stairs are old and fraying. Small bedside light not working and cobwebs above wall light outside bathroom

Paint peeling in bathroom. Very noisy pigeons on window ledge outside which was full of pigeon droppings

The staff were very friendly and the hotel is nice and central. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The only slight criticism was that there must have been a slight gap in the window as there was a slight whistling noise from the window.

Good to have parking. Reception staff helpful. Nice big room. Lovely shower room. Restaurant had run out of food, so we are out. Bed really comfy. Reasonable breakfast. However, in the morning we could clearly hear loud conversation from the neighbouring room, so sound proofing isn't great. However, overall we are likely to stay again when in Darlington.

It was a very enjoyable stay. The staff on reception were extremely helpful and breakfast was nice.

Bathroom needs an upgrade. Toilet roll holder hanging off the wall.
