The Devonshire Park Hotel

I added a note on my booking saying that I coukd.not walk any distabce or manage stairs & the Hotel responded immediately saying that this would not be a problem. The very helpful night porter was on dity when I checked in & took my bags to the room (which wasclose to reception & the lift) for me. The room could do with updating, but the bed was really comfy & bathroom spotless with a great walk-in shower. Breakfast was good - full English + selection of cereals, juices etc. My only complaint is that reception was unmanned when I came to check out & after repeatedly ringing the bell + waiting for 10 minutes I just left my keycard on the desk.

The staff were very welcoming, friendly and always very helpful. Any questions were answered with consideration. The hotel had a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere our room was excellent.

My partner had never been to Eastbourne, I have friends their who have a sound called Stone Rock Sound who were playing at Leaf Hall. Our visit was made more enjoyable by the helpful and knowledgeable Hugh who told us the best places to eat, shop and sight see. He also gave us an upgrade to a splendid suite. The room was

I booked this hotel as has parking on site and looked good on the website. I felt it was shabby and dated except where I had breakfast which was ok. Other guests were very noisy and I was in room 6 and below was a strong cannabis smell which came into my room. It was a warm evening but I had to sleep with the window closed. There was no phone in the room to contact reception and felt apprehensive doing that in any case of repercussions. I informed reception in the morning and although an apology given, I didnt feel was very empathetic. Appreciate not really any control with what residents bring with them but the smell was so so strong and maybe a sign should be placed on reception. I felt very uncomfortable during my stay at this hotel sadly. The breakfast and service was good.

Nice hotel quiet area friendly efficent staff Bedrooms were clean and comfortable but would benefit from a refresh as the furniture very brown dark and a bit tired and scuffed. We would return

Great deal on a great hotel. Quiet, comfortable with a fabulous breakfast. All staff friendly and welcoming. Period hotel- I know, but some areas dated and some areas needed cleaners to pay closer attention to details. But by and large clean. We would return.

Helpful staff, great location and spacious suite

A last minute decision to stay in Eastbourne led to booking a room in this family run hotel. The staff were very friendly, and it's some time since I've had waiter served breakfast! Easy walk into the centre of town.

Very comfortable and beautifully clean room and en-suite. Staff all very friendly, helpful and seemed to genuinely care about our experience. Was delighted to receive a welcome email with key information a few days before arrival - requested a mattress topper and it was in place when we arrived. Breakfast absolutely gorgeous, treat to have proper toast not just warm bread. Staff serving breakfast particularly caring and helpful - 1st time we’ve ever tipped breakfast waiting team in hotel! Old building so some minor damage but doesn’t detract from overall experience. Certainly recommend and would be our choice if staying in Eastbourne again. 2 minutes walk from Congress Theatre. Perfect for our stay

I always use this hotel as it is close to the theatres. Friendly staff, on site parking and nice breakfast.

ONE OF THE BEST HOTEL STAYS WE HAVE HAD. THE HOTEL IS A FEW HUNDRED YARYS AWAY FROM THE TENNIS CENTRE AND THEATRES. INTEND TO REURN LATER IN THE YEAR. DGF.
