The room was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean! We used self check in and self check out so didn’t have much interaction with the staff in person, but communication with them over email was excellent! The whole place is just stunning and we would happily stay there again.

Booked for an overnight stay for a gig at the Coventry Arena, which meant we left the lodge as soon as we checked in and didn't get back until midnight, so had little time to enjoy the surroundings. That said, great location, the lodges have clearly had a lot of money spent on them re security, lighting, heating, bathrooms, etc and are clean and comfortable. There is a fridge in the room (empty), and drinks in a fridge at reception. We had planned to pick up breakfast at a nearby cafe and eat on the balcony to enjoy the view but it was raining heavily so went home instead. Brief stay but would happily go back. There are also horses, sheep, Llama's and a Rhea/Ostrich in the adjoining field.

This venue is looking tired and needs some updating. It was evident that our room had not been cleaned for a while. The soap dispenser had a small leak which had been going long enough to deposit half the contents in the shower, making the cubicle very dangerous and slippery. The bathroom floor was past its best, the plastic coated tiles were peeling and were overdue for renewal. The balcony was neglected, bird dirt, cobwebs and a dirty ashtray. The carpet in the room had a dirty patch. The only facility, a vending machine, was empty and broken. No attempt had been made to compensate for this. And to cap it all, someone came into reception carrying a dead rat when we were checking out. On a positive note the ducks and fish were great.

Good parking, clean room, towels and linen. Tower fan in room was appreciated during the recent heatwave. Lovely cool breeze from the lake from 9pm onwards which was a relief after the heat of the day. Stayed for 2 nights and was pleasantly surprised that the room was refreshed in the morning, including 2 bottles of water, again much appreciated as was the fridge. I took my own food but there is a microwave and communal crockery and cutlery, including wine glasses. 3rd visit and enjoyable every time. My only criticism is that the bathroom lights are on a sensor, meaning if you use the toilet in the night the fantastic led lights turn the (massive) bathroom into a bright morning..
Watching the fish and ducks makes up for it though 😁

Stayed for a couple of nights in the middle of the last heat wave. It was hot, very, very hot. Not the fault of the hotels obviously! But AC or a better fan would have been appreciated.
Room was good, lots of mod cons & spacious. Booked specifically for the location and the EV chargers, however the chargers are almost a waste of time. At £0.65kwh they are on the more expensive side, but the main issue is they charge at 2KWH, presuming because of the rural location of the site. A full overnight charge barely got me to 50%. Luckily, because I was there for two nights I could repeat the process.
Lack of food and drink options was frustrating, I wasn't aware of this at booking, but if I was more prepared I could have brought some food myself. I made a presmption...
Also, finally, a fun fact. If the hotel has a power cut - your front door off the corridor becomes unlocked and physically opens - the doors have no latches or handles, working off a magnetic lock instead. That was interesting to realise. Refer to heat wave for dress code when my door was open and unlocked!!
Lots of animals around which is fun and a small army of ducks that take an interest in you which was unique.
Would stay again, but I'd bring some supplies and not during a heat wave!

The inside of the room was lovely with new technology for door entry, lighting etc. and we loved the wildlife and farm animals. however the outside of the property was a total mess. It looked like lots of the buildings were falling to bits and the grounds were overgrown and not well kept the restaurant was permanently closed and the shared microwave in the corridor worked but there was no cutlery

Really nice and the location is great. Check in was unmanned when I arrived but not a problem as they sent me the details ahead of time.
Room was a little tired, could do with a lick of paint. Shame the vending machine was out of order.
All that said the WiFi was great, bed really comfortable and the room overall was great.
Will defiantly look to stay here again in the future.

There’s good and not quite as good aspects..Lovely sized room and bathroom with fantastic outlook, but smelt a bit damp almost like wet carpet that hadn’t dried properly. Very spacious bathroom with bath and shower, but a sensor turns on the lights so in the middle of the night if you visit the bathroom the whole bathroom lights up like a summers day. Bed really comfy and unusually firm pillows, perfect for me. And Alexa in the bedroom is a nice touch. Really peaceful (until the geese start 😁) and will definitely return.

Amazing location, lovely place to stay, but the bath plug didn't work, and then when you go to have a shower or bath, you discover the temperature control is half way between the both of them with a shared control panel. Great idea. Except you have to get out of the bath or shower to change the temperature! Wouldn't put me off staying again and it was a great value stay, but just a silly system trying to be a bit too fancy for it's own food.

Had a lovely stay on Saturday, Lovely lady on reception, very helpful, hot tub lovely added extra, enjoyed feeding the animals and seeing the fish come up by the decking. Will be returning for a third time!

Location and staff excellent. Deck onto the waterfront was fabulous as was the quietness. Nowhere obvious to walk to for food, but a communal microwave was available (don’t think I’d like the room it was in front of though)
WiFi was poor and a sketchy phone signal but not the end of the world. Lights switches seemed a little 3 seashells (IYKYK) but fathomed it out. The animals all looked content, especially the pig! Will definitely return.

Let’s start with the smell it was like a musky damp smell and the hot tub empty not been looked after it had loads of added features like mood lighting some worked and the bedroom did not I made the mistake of looking under the bed and it was like a seen from arachnophobia I never seen so many big spiders and dead bugs in the bathroom did not sleep well. It was a shame looked really nice

Roon was not cleaned. Still had dirty cups, hair on bathroom floor,old toothpaste in the sink and crisps crumbs all over the floor.
Hot tub did not work but would not use as water was full of leaves
If hadnt of arrived late I would have complained

second time staying here first time was great this time not so. All water wasn’t working for at least two hours and had no notice, staff was rude over the phone when I was asking for help with something, a leak was coming through the lights in my room and the staff didn’t help just told us to stay in the room and there was nothing they can do
