Hôtel Mercure Lille Centre Grand-Place

Hotel propre petit dejeuner exelent

It was centrally located in an antique style building …..however the bathroom in our room could easily be refreshed from too much use …..caulking , paint, etc . definitely in good need . There was a wonderful feature on each floor hallway by the elevator : water dispenser , BOTH regular and sparkling water that was truly an added plus . The breakfast offerings were extensive while there were plenty of available tables as it was never crowded . One major drawback : exterior maintenance in France ( perhaps much of Europe) is NOT what we are used to , at least in the States . If there is a heatwave ,plants and grass are not watered and simply die . It’s an accepted fact of life there .To the side of the hotel there a perfect space for an outdoor cafe . It may or be owned by the hotel but for now it’s there unmaintained with some site cabins presently occupying it , creating an eyesore .

Great Location to the grand square and Euralille and metro. Clean and reasonable size. Near to lots of charming bars and restaurants.

Overpriset. Ikke verdt fire stjerner. Pent i korridorer og fellesarealer, men rommet var i dårlig forfatning og lite smakfullt innredet. Toalettet burde blitt byttet ut, nedslitt interiør, flere lys som ikke virket. Bestilte Prestige-rom, forventet betydelig bedre standard. Fikk ikke byttet rom, da det var fullbooket. Men meget bra beliggenhet midt i hjertet av Lille.

For over $500 we got a spartan room with very little storage space and a huge bathroom with no space for towels, toiletries, etc. The seating in the room was uncomfortable and the furnishings were all laminate. This is, at best, a 2-3 star hotel with 5 star prices. On the plus side, it is well located in the city center and is a pretty building.

Great place

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est fantastique. Le personnel est sympathique. Dommage qu’il ait fallu 48 heures et trois demandes pour que le lit bébé mis par erreur dans notre chambre soit retiré. Cela a considérablement réduit l’espace utilisable dans la chambre pendant notre séjour. Dommage également que mes messages pré séjour soient restés sans réponse.

The hotel is new, clean, comfy and 5 mins away from all the amenities of Lille centre. I will definitely come back !!!

Our room was full of them, so much so, we’ve been bitten all over. When we checked out they informed us we should have asked for a repellant, really. If you knew they was an issue 1. We put guests in these rooms and 2. Put repellant items in there . Shame as location was ideal

Very convenient for City Centre, staff very friendly, some rooms a little tired

Breakfast very average, was crowded on Sunday morning, not enough seats for everyone. Room had over a dozen mosquitoes flying around which unfortunately made sleeping a bit of a challenge. Even with balcony door closed all the time we kept finding more. Not the hotel’s fault but it spolit out time there.
