Hotel molto carino a due passi dal centro. Personale molto gentile e disponibile, siamo arrivati ben prima dell’orario di check-in ma ci hanno comunque dato la camera, cosa davvero apprezzata. Pulizia della camera eccellente, colazione super abbondante e varia, con molte opzioni dolci e salate. Ristorante dell’hotel eccezionale. Altamente consigliato!

Stayed here for 2 nights when we arrived and 3 nights before we left. Front desk Flor was was very friendly and helpful. She even have to go out of her way to show my husband where he could park for free in case hotel parking is full. Restaurant inside the hotel was also very convenient for us. Food there are great as well.

This is very clean friendly staff and l9cated in center of city that have access with walking distance for shopping,resturantsand very close by walk around the ocean It is very n8ce with indoor and out door pools also very nice .clean sauna

The Miðgarður by Center Hotels is an excellent hotel. The staff made us immediately feel welcome and was very helpful during our 2 stays there. The room was spacious, clean, quiet and well appointed. The food in their attached restaurant, Jörgensen Kitchen & Bar, was outstanding. We enjoyed both breakfasts and several dinners there. The location is walkable to all parts of downtown Reykjavik and right next to one of the desiganted bus stops for all tour and transportaton companies. We would plan to stay there again .

One of the Best location for tourists. Bus stop 13 is right around the corner. Easy to take guided tour group buses. Walking distance to major attractions and nice restaurants.

I highly recommend this hotel. Pros: - Really modern interior architecture - Limited Complimentary parking - Exceptionally supportive staff members - In city centre - Nearby restaurants and food halls - Really good Spa section(Sauna, Massage, indoor and outdoor warm pool) Conditional Cons: - No racks to keep eye glasses in Spa area(it becomes difficult for a person with eyeglasses, as there is no rack to leave them off, when entering in Sauna or going to take shower)

This hotel is in a perfect spot. We walked to everything in town and caught the bus right outside. We had a beautiful room and the hotel staff was great, especially Veronika at the front desk who was super nice and helpful. Enjoyed the restaurant, the spa (had a massage), daily breakfast, and everything about our stay. Definitely recommend this hotel.

All staff we encountered were friendly and approachable, right from the moment we checked in. Our room was spacious enough to 3 adults and included a TV, coffee machine, kettle, mini fridge and mini bar (payable). We had use of the spa included which was lovely, we sat in the outdoor hot tub as it got dark and the temperature outside plummeted to -4. What an experience! Breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold food although it did get busy early on as everyone heads out on tours around 8. We would definitely return!

The location is very central to downtown Reykjavik. Everything is within reasonable walking distance. We told the hotel that we were there for our engagement and the hotel accommodated us with pastries and rose petals. The bar and restaurant was very delicious. If you bring a car the parking is a little confusing and tight but very reasonable.

Center hotels have several properties and I thought I was choosing the nicest- boy was I wrong. From sending two emails over several days that went unanswered to the awful sulfuric smell in the bathroom. When I entered the room I actually had to check to make sure there wasn’t waste left because it smelled so badly. I was only staying a few hours so I saved myself the trouble moving to another room (420). I’m not sure if the smell was from the construction next door or what but it was bad. The bed was too soft and the sheets were scratchy. You could hear every door opening and closing nearby. No heat controls in the room. Honestly, just nothing great about this place. I wouldn’t have made it more than a few hours staying there. I would not recommend.
