Hotel Tjampuhan Spa

A wonderful view with jungle noise. Flower accents everywhere. Smiling staff and every detail in service was perfect. The breakfast brunch was lovely with many options and good hot coffee. The lunches were amazing . I was approached by the room manager and he said that my room was going to be renovated very soon. The pools were a nice temperature and the spa area was worth a look...even if you were not bookibg it. Heavy bags were carried up and down the many stairs for me. I would not recommend for those with mobility issues or easily exhausted by heat. It is built into a hillside. The gardens are amazing. Will return again. Thank you!

We enjoyed everything about Hotel Tjampuhan. We especially enjoyed its close proximity to really good restaurants.

Breakfast was good, but restaurant meals were somewhat lacking in quality and portion size

Meget smuk beliggenhed, men noget slidt. Vi synes, det var fint til pengene til 4 dage. Poolen manglede klinker, værelserne var lidt slidte. Det ligger lige uden for byen med gåafstand til det hele. Dejligt stille resort.

This place is still a page of Ubud history and steps from so many places you will want to visit. but they have really let the place get into disrepair. they are renovating, but the first pink room tile we were in was horrible. the 2nd room what nicer, but lacked places to store clothes/bags and had ants everywhere. it never really cooled down compared to other rooms either. i hope they can turn it around

This is such a beautiful old villa with so much character and privacy. Nature is close by and a short walk to the centre of Ubud. Staff are very friendly.

Honestly, it was our worst and most shoking experience in all my times in Bali. Hotel looks beautful but needs a massive shake up and new management. There are 2 pools but only one is in the sunny area with warm water, even though it is in a poor condition and missing tiles under water. Pool is very small with only 5-6 sun beds while there are at least 5 times more guests are staying in the hotel so basically only 5 -6 people a day can stay around the pool. Person serving drinks in the pool bar does not speak any foreign language and has no idea what sort of alcohol he is putting into cocktails. First, we got Pina kolada purely non alcoholic while paid for the one with Bacardi. When we asked if there any Bacardi in the cocktail man quite rudely kept doing what he was doing ignoring us. When we insisted to tell us what was added to our cocktails man went into basically into a hole in the ground that served him as a kitchen and brought 2 bottles showing us that maybe added alcohol from any of these. Non of that was Bacardi and we had no idea what sort of alcohol was in that bottles! Nobody saw a problem in this and was unable to tell us what actually we drank and how somebody with no idea what he is doing and serving to customers can work in the pool bar and sell alcohol. We asked to speak to a manager and were told there is no manager!! Came to reception and all staff was laughing at us as we are crazy white ladies seeing no issues with anything. Lots more to say just no space

Globalement un hotel correct, mais peu ou pas de service au niveau du front desk, pas de sentiment d'accueil ou de bienvenu, malgré un verre offert. 1er diner offert sans aucun intéret. Chambres assez spacieuses mais sans charme, mobilier désuet. Propreté des salles de massage, voire lits de massage en question.

Beautiful location and facilities, very friendly and helpful staff. It's my second stay and I am planning to return.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The grounds were beautiful. Even though there are a lot of stairs we didn’t mind the workout.

Henkilökunta todella ystävällistä. Hotellissa paljon korkeuseroja, en suosittele heikkojalkaisille. Allasalueet/altaat aika pienet eli jos viihtyy enemmän altaan äärellä, ei ole paras paikka siihen. Oma huoneemme kaipasi jo vähän remonttia, mutta oli ihan viihtyisä. Osa huoneista oli remontoitu sekä osassa remontti käynnissä. Sijainti hyvä, pääsi kävellen vilkkaammalle alueelle, jossa enemmän palveluita, mutta ihan läheltäkin löytyi kauppa ja ravintoloita.

Beautiful authentic Bali hotel. Wonderful service. Everyone was eager to meet our needs.

Very poor room cleaning, bathroom needs maintenance, garden needs maintenance and cleaning old leaves

The hotel facilities and everything about it was more than satisfactory.There appeared however to be a tipping culture expectation when the overall costs incurred a customer service fee.Making it much more costly. Hand towels in the bathroom would be a nice addition.Staff were amazing.

I love this hotel; it is my third stay. The grounds of this hotel are spectacular. Loved Lebah 5!
