I got eaten up with bites. They might change the sheets but not the blankets and bedspreads. Disgusting. Most of the outlets in the room were broken as well as the side of the bathtub. The breakfast attendant is very rude. Had I known the €10 additional for breakfast would only be cereal, out of date yogurt and stail croissants I would not have wasted the money. Not worth it. They need to clean their espresso machine. All the coffee beverages tasted horrible.The only positive about this place is the location. Definitely not Lux.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, just a few short minutes from the San Vaccaria water bus station and also next to a lovely strip of restaurants and bars. The only negative is that the hotel is a little tired looking and breakfast choices were limited but i would still book again.

The room was cramped and the furniture was old, the bathtub edge in the bathroom was broken and there were flies in the room. The female staff member who serves breakfast responded in a very disrespectful and rude manner.

Location was absolutely perfect and the hotel was charming. It’s an older hotel without a lobby, no elevator which is expected in an older building, but the rooms are cozy. For a night or 2 it’s a good value comparable to other hotels on the island. It served the purpose and the trip was enjoyable.

The bed doesn’t come with blankets so it’s freezing. When I plugged my blow dryers cord the cord started to burs luckily I saw doesn’t have a lot of charging areas. The location is kinda dirty. And kicked us out of the “lounge room” and said it is for breakfast. The hotels bed is horrible quality but the AC sometimes gets too cold it’s tiny don’t recommend this hotel could give it 1 star

ホテルが分かりやすく看板が立っていたのが良かった。迷わずに済んだ。フロントでカギを受け取り、別の棟にある部屋に自走するシステム。シャワーのみの古いお部屋だったけど、中世風の内装で、とてもテンション上がりました。水回りも綺麗。朝食は最低限というところ。作って出してくれたカプチーノが美味しかった。ただ、立地から普段★４以上のホテルへいく人が泊まると、厳しいかもしれない。サンマルコ広場近くて、立地も最高。

Small hotel in an excellent location near St. Mark's Square. I stayed in the hotel's other building in a nice, clean room with a private terrace overlooking a canal! Helpful and friendly staff, but no lobby and very basic breakfast.

Upon checking in, unfortunately we were not at all impressed with what we got for the price. This is a tiny room with a tiny bathroom. And in that tiny tub shower the water kind of just weakly “fell” out of the shower head. My husband and I were shoulder to shoulder at all times. The bed mattress was weak. The walls are fabric and dusty, and the room is dimly lit. All of this wouldn’t be an issue if we felt it was priced accordingly. We searched online and found comparable hotels in the vicinity at significantly better prices. It was just an unfortunate surprise upon checking in. Venice is still beautiful, but this hotel needs lots of updates.

Koseligt lite hotell med super beliggenhet. Kunne gjerne vert ei oppgradert seng å ellers vedlikeholdt den stolen som var der( kunne ikkje brukes siden den nesten datt ifra kverandre) I tillegg burde ein oppgradert dusj hode og fikset toalettet. Ellers eit super koseligt hotell

L'hôtel Lux est idéalement situé tout proche de la place San Marco et des stations de vaporeto. Le personnel est très agréable et très serviable. Une mention particulière à la personne qui nous servait le petit déjeuner. Merci a elle pour sa gentillesse et son efficacité. L'hôtel est un peu vieillot mais propre et bien insonorisé. Il y avait la climatisation dans les chambres. La salle du petit déjeuners est un peu petite mais l'organisation par créneau aide a reguler les arrivées. Le petit déjeuner est correcte, les boissons chaudes y sont excellentes. Si je reviens a Venise, je pourrais revenir dans cet hôtel.

We went to the hotel to check in and were told our family triple room was in another building, I felt anxious but the instructions were good so we left hopeful, within a 2 min walk we entered a beautiful building and went to two flights of stairs to a beautiful room with a double and single (camp bed style), it was immaculate and had a very small but very cute Juliet balcony with amazing views of a canal and a bridge and in the distance we could see what we believe to be St Marks Square. The room had a mini fridge, big wardrobe with extra blankets and one pillow, we paid for breakfast but we didn't go as we just wanted to explore the area we were in with plenty of cafes and bakeries around us

The room itself was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was the only amenity and that was bad with just cereal, day old croissants and yogurt to eat. Good espresso and cappuccino. The biggest problem was the noise. Our room was just above several restaurants which were very busy until midnight. It might have been ok if we could have turned on the ac and shut the windows, but they don't switch the system on until May.
