ฟูฟู ฮาโกเนะ

Highly recommend this luxurious onsen for a relaxing stay. The meals were so delicious. Our rooms were super comfortable with private hot springs bath and the public bath was lovely as well. The staff were very helpful. I would be very happy to stay here again.

Great everything

We stayed for only 1 evening but the hotel was exceptional. The hotel is beautiful and set in a gorgeous forested backdrop. The staff are very pleasant and very helpful. Their English overall was good. I highly recommend a stay here. It is a unique experience with both public onsen baths overlooking the mountains or a private onsen bath in your beautifully layed out well appointed room. Pajamas and traditional clothing is provided and encouraged to wear to your personally curated dinner. If you want a spa service book ahead. If you are in hurry to get to your next destination consider hiring a car service as check out time is very busy and there can be some trouble getting a cab. Overall it was excellent.

Overall lovely property. Room was spacious and comfortable. Nice decor. Great beds. Excellent amenities. In room spa bath very nice. Staff extremely attentive and gracious. Shuttle service into Goran Station nearby much appreciated. We were here just one night. Included dinner and breakfast. Set menus. Too much food, to be honest. Staff seemed to recognize this and were almost apologetic about it. Clearly most people find it to be too much. It was quite good. And nicely prepared and presented. Of course not suggesting this is a fault, but just an observation. Our arrival was around noon and we weren’t able to check in. There was nothing to do on the property so we went into Gora Station. Recommend against showing up before check in time if you can avoid it. We weren’t previously aware of the Hakone Tozan railway that runs from Hakone Yumoto to Gara Station. We took this train on our departure. It’s a magnificent 40 minute ride through lush woods and valleys with amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Highly recommended.

温泉、お部屋、食事どれも非常に良かったです。結婚記念日の訪問でした。デザートのプレートと記念写真のプレゼントもありがたかった。チェックインの時におめでとうの声掛けしてもらえたら良かった。

The property was great, the room was beautiful but unfortunately the service was pretty bad. The staff weren’t as nice and accommodating as I was expecting at that level of hotel.

The rooms were incredible - clean and stocked with all essentials, including pjs and traditional attire to wear around the hotel. We had a private onsen which not only was relaxing, but actually improved our skin!! We learned after that the spring water has healing effects. The staff were very attentive. Last but not least the food was exceptional - we opted for the traditional Japanese dinner and every course was Michelin level curated. They also accommodated my very specific allergy (allium). Our only complaint was that it was too much food - we couldn’t believe how many courses there were. Breakfast was also incredible.

Hotel, facilities and staff were all excellent. Not the cheapest but 100% worth every penny. You can also contact the hotel before hand for a free pick up from Gora station which is really easy to get to from Odawara or Tokyo station.

The atmosphere, facility, food and services are perfect I really recommended this amazing place to stay. the only one complian about was that it was hard to call and communicate with them

食事の品数が多く連休でも大浴場が貸し切り状態でした。部屋からの眺めも良くお部屋の温泉も滑らかで良かったです。

今回2か所目のふふ滞在でした。 夕食、朝食共に戴いて日本食らしく小さな器に細かく盛られてとっても美しい食事でした。朝食もメニューには無い洋食を準備頂きましてありがとうございました。ただ、朝食は凝り過ぎかなぁと言う感じで、もっとシンプルな卵料理とベーコンやハムとパンとシンプルなサラダ、フルーツとコーヒーといった感じの海外のホテルの様なのが良かったです。後になって二人とも胸焼けしました。お部屋は広くてベッドは大きくてシモンズのベッドでとてもよく眠れて最高でした。 いつも思いますが、日本のホテルのスタッフの方は、海外のホテルのように食事の説明が英語で出来ないのが残念です。日本食だけでなく、洋食のメニューも朝夜共に選べるようになってるといいなぁと思います。 ふふは二人とも気に入っているのでまた利用させていただきたいです。
