Great stay! The property was nice and clean. The common areas were easy to use and felt social. We also rented bikes from the hotel and they were great and affordable! The desk staff was knowledgable about biking paths in the area.

Really friendly staff and good space. Adequate room for showers and toilets - female only toilets provided. Mattress and pillows comfortable. Recommend taking your own towel.

This place is incredible, run by a family of four they were so incredibly helpful. Their English was excellent and the location was very close to bus stops and convenience stores. There are shared spaces so do be aware of that and the rooms have great AC but the shared spaces tend to be closer to outside temps. Overall, this place was incredible and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Kyoto.

As soon as we arrived it felt calm and peaceful in the property. Check-in was easy and staff showed us to our room and where amenities were etc. The bedroom had enough space for two people and two large backpacks. The showers and toilets were perfectly clean and although there are a lot of rooms in the property we only waited once for a shower (for 5-10 minutes). The communal kitchen and living space was also spotless. Beds are futon style and I had a comfortable sleep. Bedroom had a window and aircon system. Staff were lovely and always on hand if needed. A wonderful stay and highly recommended!

De unge mennesker, som arbejder på stedet er virkelig søde, imødekommende og hjælpsomme - især når de ikke er optaget af egne gøremål.
Værelserne er virkelig små, og det ville være herligt med et spejl, f. eks. på bagsiden af døren.
Der er mulighed for tøjvask og god tørreplads udenfor huset.
Det ærgerlige er, at hele huset trænger til en gennemgribende rengøring! Håndvaskene på fælles badeværelser er virkelig uhumske. Fællesområderne, dvs. køkken og opholdsrummet er rent på overfladen, men alle skuffer og skabe - inkl. køleskabet som gæsterne deler, er virkelig snavset og ildelugtende. Skraldespandene i køkkenet bliver ikke tømt, når de er fyldte, med det resultat at affald stilles i poser ved siden af skraldespanden. ØV! Forpladsen ind til Fujitaya er en rodet omgang - det kunne med lidt orden og beslutning om, hvor cykelparkeringen egentlig er, være rigtig pænt.

Fantastic place to be for spending your time at kyoto. Room is clean. Staffs is kind and good an English. The location is close to bus stops and nearby is Kyoto Railway Museum and Kyoto Aquarium. And the prices is reasonable compared to other hotels in Kyoto. Overall a must choose if you looking for hotel in Kyoto.

全てにおいて快適でした。1つ気になったことは、シャワーの排水溝に髪の毛がたまって排水があまりよくなかったこと。利用後、各自で処理すればいいのですが、、されない方もいるかもしれないので、アナウンスするといいかもしれません。

Hosts were very kind, you have use of the common kitchen which is nice, and the rooms are spacious and clean. All shared spaces are kept very clean as well and it is quiet at night. The space is very organized and there's a map in the room showing all nearby restaurants, onsen, etc. The futon is also very comfortable!

My friend and I had a good 3-night stay at Fujitaya. The hosts are extremely kind and we enjoyed the events and sense of community.
However, as we were working remotely, we found it a bit challenging to focus due to the hosts' two young children.

Loved our time here, everything is clean and has great order, it's close to different convenient stores, the bus stop is really close too, the property is beautiful and really comfortable. Can't wait to be back in a near future ❤️ more than grateful for their hospitality.
