Hotel location was absolutely perfect, my first visit to Kyoto right by so many wonderful places to walk, I spent three nights in the hotel, the staff as we all of Japan is extremely kind, professional, and helpful, hotel was clean the lounge had wonderful little treats, —subway, department stores food, Riverwalk, the bridge. Everything is right there within walking distance. The only thing that was absolutely stupid was having to use the iPad to turn the lights on and off - iPad kept going dead so when we went to bed a night, we had to wait 30 minutes to charge it in order to turn off the lights to sleep - stupid! you can’t just turn off the lights with a switch on wall .Everything else was perfect. FYI, we kept the iPad plugged in, but it still went dead for some reason.- if I ever come back to Kyoto? I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The place was amazingly spacious with balcony. The lounge was very well thought off and a nice place to relax after a long walk along Kyoto streets. Impressed with the service and accommodation. Excellent!

넓고 깨끗하고 위치가 정말 좋았습니다. 바로 옆 다카시마아백화점도 옢이고 백화점 식당 동양정도 있고 호텔 일층 라멘집도 맛났습니다. 길 건너 개천 길도 이쁘고 그 길 카페도 3일 내내 가고 암튼 교토 두번째인데 편하게 3박 잘 지냈습니다.

Hotel location was absolutely perfect, my first visit to Kyoto right by so many wonderful places to walk, I spent three nights in the hotel, the staff as we all of Japan is extremely kind, professional, and helpful, hotel was clean the lounge had wonderful little treats, —subway, department stores food, Riverwalk, the bridge. Everything is right there within walking distance. The only thing that was absolutely stupid was having to use the iPad to turn the lights on and off - iPad kept going dead so when we went to bed a night, we had to wait 30 minutes to charge it in order to turn off the lights to sleep - stupid! you can’t just turn off the lights with a switch on wall .Everything else was perfect. FYI, we kept the iPad plugged in, but it still went dead for some reason.- if I ever come back to Kyoto? I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

넓고 깨끗하고 위치가 정말 좋았습니다. 바로 옆 다카시마아백화점도 옢이고 백화점 식당 동양정도 있고 호텔 일층 라멘집도 맛났습니다. 길 건너 개천 길도 이쁘고 그 길 카페도 3일 내내 가고 암튼 교토 두번째인데 편하게 3박 잘 지냈습니다.

We stayed at GOOD NATURE HOTEL KYOTO for 3 nights as a group of 3 and had an amazing experience overall. The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable even with all our luggage open, and it also had two chairs and a table which made the space feel extra cozy and relaxing. From the moment we arrived, the room had such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the complimentary brownie cookie was such a nice touch — absolutely delicious! The hotel was extremely clean, and housekeeping came every day to replace towels, restock bottled water, and tidy the room. The amenities were also excellent — the shampoo and bath products smelled amazing and felt really gentle on the skin. They provided room slippers and comfortable lounge/sleepwear as well, which made our stay feel extra luxurious. One highlight was definitely the ReFa hairdryer provided in the room — such a nice surprise! Just a small note: toothbrushes are not automatically provided, but you can easily request them from the front desk. The location was super convenient. It’s close to convenience stores, the main shopping area, and the station, while still being within walking distance to places like Gion District and Pontocho Alley. The service throughout our stay was excellent. The staff helped store our luggage and could also assist with forwarding luggage to the next hotel, which was very convenient. Clean room and cool property that was in a great location. For the price of the property, it felt like a lot of amenities were missing. You had to pay for things that other hotels provide like toothbrushes. Also, the elevators took forever.

The front dest staff was very courteous and professional. He suggested room upgrade when we checked in and showed the reserved room and the new room which we liked his suggested room better. Even though we paid for this room upgrade, we liked this upgraded room so we really appreciated. Location of this hotel is excellent and very convenient to go to tourist site, department stores, famous street market and also close to the Kyoto station.
