Allegro Cozumel All Inclusive

Did NOT like that they don’t have A/C in ANY of the eating areas….. being the weather very hot it was uncomfortable eating while sweating 😓!!!!! No air conditioning including the “specialty restaurants”!!!!

We had a blast at this resort! This was the first time my kids 16 and 12 had done a trip out of the US and it was so wonderful! The guys that do the entertainment during the day are hilarious and just fun to be around. Diego was our favorite! Only thing I can say is the night entertainment wasn’t the best that could use some working in but that’s it.

I am writing to formally request a refund and appropriate compensation for the unacceptable conditions I experienced during my stay at Allegro. After several hours of travel, I arrived at the hotel expecting a comfortable and safe accommodation. Instead, I was assigned a room that was infested with bugs. This was both disturbing and unacceptable, particularly considering the standards that guests reasonably expect from your property. To address the infestation, hotel staff attempted to fumigate the room at approximately 10:00 p.m. while I was already settled in for the evening. The use of chemicals triggered my son's allergies, creating an additional health concern and causing significant distress. I did not consider this an acceptable solution and, after several hours of discussions with hotel staff, I was eventually relocated to another room. Unfortunately, the issues did not end there. The replacement room developed a significant water leak from the ceiling the following day. Despite reporting the issue immediately, it took approximately 15 hours for the problem to be resolved. This further disrupted our stay and prevented us from fully enjoying our vacation. As a result of these multiple failures including exposure to bugs in the bedding, exposure to fumigation chemicals, the health impact on my son, the water leak, and the substantial amount of vacation time lost dealing with these issues I am requesting a refund and fair compensation for the inconvenience, discomfort.

Where to start, clean rooms, nice pools but no one seemed to know anything there. Food was very underwhelming. Do not go thinking you are getting high quality service and food. Only kids under 4’ can be in the kids pool. Minimal to no kids activities. Please use this link to read more about this resort. Got food poisoning here left the first day of my 5 days I had booked. Food is absolutely terrible. Only allowed to visit a restaurant once per 3 days you stay here and first night doesn’t count. I highly recommend staying anywhere else.

Food could be better but the great activities and people make up for it. We have the best times at Allegro. This is our second time here and we plan to return.

El hotel está en buen estado las habitaciones les falta modernidad, pero limpias, el hotel general muy bueno, la comida mediana calidad. Pero bueno para viaje familiar actividades lindas y show excelentes

The rooms are old dated in bad repair. Some staff are rude and not courteous.

I have been to Cozumel a few times and Allegro was probably our least favorite resort so far. Pros: Pool stayed open until dark, drinks were really good, air conditioning in the room was really nice, and the beach was amazing. Cons: The buffet food was TERRIBLE and the restaurants were super hard to get into, you can't take food to your room, the mini fridge wasn't restocked, there wasn't a ton of activities, they have cruise guest and it gets really busy, and the gift shop prices are outrageous. Overall, it is a good resort on a budget, especially if all you care about is the beach. There was nice play areas for kids. All the staff were really nice. Not a resort we would choose to return to.

Rooms had ants in them, but clean. Good was mediocre at best. Entertainment was good. This was our 4 th time staying here last time was 2020, very disappointing from then.

Overall the resort is very nice, the beach is clean and nice to be able to get in the water from the sand. The only downfall here is the food, I’ve never been one to read the reviews that say the food isn’t good and I will eat almost anything but the food was the same flavorless options for every meal. We went off resort for the last 2 days to eat.

Habitación limpia, alberca limpia también. En el bar todas las bebidas las servian sin gas, los sabores de las bebidas no eran buenos. El desayuno bien, la comida de la 1 a 5pm estaba siempre horrible, le hace falta variedad. La cena ok, solo no son claros con las reservación de los restaurantes especiales ya que solo te garantizan poder cenar en ellos 1 vez durante toda tu estancia. A mí me dieron mal la información al realizar el check in sobre horarios y servicios y una recepcionista 'Araceli Chu' se portó muy cerrada y con pésimo servicio al cliente. Para el check out nos ofrecieron una hora extra lo cual me agrado para entregar la habitación a la 1pm. En la alberca los meseros permiten fumar y es molesto porque yo en específico viajaba con un menor y soy alérgica al cigarro. Si les falta mucho en su menú de comida ya que solo ponen comida chatarra como hot dogs y hamburguesas y comida muy grasosa.

The housekeeping staff was amazing!! We booked 3 rooms and all were kept very clean, and stocked. Deigo (entertainment staff) and Victor the lifeguard were outstanding and very helpful.

The room was good. The staff were okay. Almost impossible to get into a restaurant. They were always full which was annoying. And the food on the evening buffet was bad. Breakfast buffet was the best food there, also the lunch restaurant was okay. Best thing about the place was the drinks and the pool. Even though it “closed” at 7pm. They let us stay in it until almost 9

Our room was kept very clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The resort was great, the beach was beautiful and the food was fine. If you can't find something to eat that you like, then you are too picky. I didn't like everything that they served, but I never went hungry! My only complaint is that there are no shade structures on the beach, only palm trees. Not enough palm trees for everyone.

Allegro has amazing bartenders and staff that actually seem to enjoy their job. Everyone spoke both Spanish and English very well. The food was decent for an all inclusive. There was always multiple options for meals. The air conditioning was okay, not like American ac but it wasn’t terrible. The theater shows were fun and had lots of seating. Thanks for an amazing experience!!

Room was clean and ac was great coming in from the humidity.

Good ac, fun shows, excellent drinks. Never had a problem finding a chair at the beach or by the pool. Children's play was nice and well maintained. Expect a long check in process as they seem to need additional help up front. Though many understood English, it was spotty and we had some communication trouble but usually figured it out. The resort also could do with a more comprehensive website/app for guests. Locations weren't communicated well for activities and staff often didnt know where they were held either. Very nice overall though and we'd go back.
