We loved everything about Allegro Cozumel. The beauty, cleanliness, amazing staff, soft beds, comfy pillows, excellent food, great pools, great swim up bar, beautiful ocean right on the premises, you walk right into the ocean. Clear ocean, you can see fish and your toes in the clear water. The staff are wonderful, they have fun activities going on all day. I cannot say enough about Allegro, except, our family of 11 cannot wait to go back. Thank you so much for the perfect experience!!!!!!

Great stay for family of 4. Pools and beach were amazing. Easy to always get food/drinks. Plenty of options. Hibachi restaurant is best. Across street is excellent taco stand. ate, swam, snorkeled, played pool. grounds are excellent. gift shop is lovely and well priced. rooms were fine. A bit of a musty smell in our rooms from humidity I guess, which was my only real negative but we weren’t in rooms much. Grounds are beautiful. Went after spring break to avoid crowds. Perfect amount of ppl. IMO premium area is overrated.

The costumer service at the check in point was terrible. We are six in the family and they threaten my family as we forgot in playa de Carmen one ID of one of my family members. They were so unfriendly and aggressive. We were really scared but decided to stay as we had pre pay our staying.

Worst food I have ever had at any all inclusive, inedible. Fridge was broken and I needed it to store medication, room smelt like sewage, hammock for our room had a huge hole so we could not use. But the worst was the lunch and dinner and late night snack tacos did not even resemble tacos. I was so disappoint as we paid $1300 Canadian dollars for two nights. I spoke with the front desk about fridge and smell first evening and again in the morning, nothing was fixed and nobody checked back with me. Went back again at night and they apologized and asked why I didn't come to the desk more to complain, I said I am here for 1.5 days and do not want to spend my time at front desk. They offered me late check out, as compensation; we declined as food and drink were so bad why stay. Sad, terrible and so disappointing ruined our holiday, that we were so excited for.

We had our flight cancelled for the first day of the short vacation, so only really had an afternoon, full day, and morning before having to depart. I like Cozumel, it's earthy and real, and people go there to dive, snorkel, fish, and rot on a beach. The Allegro is typical of many resorts in the area. Beach is great, relaxing, and unassuming. Accommodations adequate, but dated, and food from buffet not noteworthy (breakfasts were better than dinners), "Restaurants" still used food leftovers from the day's menu, but had nice service, and nice ambiance, yet the reservation process was an absolute tangle of indifference and outright lies. That being said our grown family of four had a nice trip booked on short notice. Sergio at the pool bar and Brenda the front desk manager made real efforts to please and accommodate, for which we are very appreciative and thankful. Mexican staff are very accommodating if you engage them politely and push through the odd, ever-changing rules of engagement for hotel amenities, especially access to the better "restaurants", vice the buffets. One recommendation would be to have the same menu at the lunch pool bar (evening Mexican restaurant), available for the evening buffet. Simple American fare (hamburgers, fries, dogs, soup, salad, ice cream machine, etc. would have been welcomed for the evening buffet. One other improvement might be umbrellas on the beach itself. UV was 11 today prior to our departure, and palm trees not adequate.

The staff were very nice and helpful. We were unhappy with our room. It had a strong sewage smell and the AC dripped on the floor the whole time we were there. The room never cooled down but was slightly comfortable. The food was not the greatest but I expect that with an all inclusive. The shows at night were great. We really enjoyed them.

The grounds were very clean and manicured. Rooms were cold. Beds were comfy. Carlos was great. He worked in the snack bar and dinner buffet. Also Itzel was great at taken care of us in the pool area. Our room was by the children's splash pad water play area and they didn't bother us at all. The only thing we wish was different was being able to make dinner reservations for all the nights you are there or at least for 3 of the nights and being able to make reservations on an app. The wait to make the dinner reservations was over 30 mins both times we tried.

Only the beach is nice , everything else is not good for the price that we paid. I booked two rooms , my girls room didn’t have a shower door, so the kids are showering in my room. The food is not good. They have the same thing everyday. There are 11 of us and we can not reserve for the restaurant, there is no option, we ate at the buffet every day and the food are the same everyday.

Highly recommend Fuji restaurant. Standard rooms are on the small side and the dinner buffet was monotonous with limited food choices. Nightly shows/entertainment were enjoyable. Beach and sea are beautiful with crystal water and lots of beautiful marine life to see. Don’t forget to make your scuba masks and snorkels and if you do the hotel offers equipment daily for 1 hour to go snorkelling. Very family orientated and relaxing atmosphere.

This is a family friendly resort. This is our 2nd stay at the Allegro. We go mainly for the beach as it is always clean and the water crystal clear. Its not huge which makes getting around the resort a breeze.
