Hotel Novotel Monte Carlo

Globalement tout est bien dans cet hôtel. Mais le hammam ne fonctionnait pas.

Le petit déjeuner était parfait , il y a de nombreux choix. La chambre était propre . Tout était parfait .

Gostei bastante de ficar no Novotel Monte Carlo. Quarto confortável e espaçoso, café da manhã delicioso e localização também nota mil.

centralt, parkering i huset, god frukost, fantastiskt rum med balkong med havsutsikt. pool. allt var bra.

Our big windows and view were unbelievable! Room was cool and modern. Staff were so nice and helpful. The building had great amenities. I loved the steam room and sauna. Pool was nice but we didn’t use it. Location was amazing! I wish we could’ve stayed longer.

Wir haben unseren 20. Hochzeitstag in diesem Hotel in Monaco verbracht und uns im Vorfeld sehr darauf gefreut. Bei der Buchung hatten wir extra angegeben, dass es sich um unseren Jahrestag handelt – auch in der Hoffnung auf eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit, wie wir es aus vielen anderen Hotels kennen (z. B. eine kleine Überraschung im Zimmer oder eine nette Geste). Leider wurde darauf überhaupt nicht eingegangen, was wir sehr schade fanden. Es hätte nichts Großes sein müssen, aber selbst eine kleine Anerkennung wäre schön gewesen. Zusätzlich waren wir mit dem Zimmer nicht zufrieden. Es war sehr dunkel und hatte kaum Tageslicht. Auch die Beleuchtung im Zimmer war unzureichend, sodass man teilweise ins Badezimmer gehen musste, um genug Licht zu haben. Insgesamt hat uns der Aufenthalt dadurch etwas enttäuscht, gerade weil es sich um einen besonderen Anlass gehandelt hat.

The hotel was excellent. There is a high standard in Monaco and we were not disappointed, considering this may be considered a budget option. The communal areas have a great flow, the bar area especially. It is an easy walk to anywhere you need to be, with spectacular views an architecture along the way. We upgraded to an executive room with balcony & sea view which did not disappoint. The room had all amenities we could need and plenty of space for the two of us. We experienced an issue upon check-in where reception wanted to take full payment there and then, although we had already paid upon booking. This was swiftly and professionally resolved. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Monte Carlo.

If you're arriving on the train from Cannes / Nice / Ventimiglia then this hotel might be your closest option. Head up the escalator, turn left, and walk until you see the lifts. Go to the higher level and follow the signs for the Boulevard Princesse Charlotte. When you arrive at the pavement, bear left and the Novotel is around 200 metres on your right.

Kjempe fint hotel med nydelig rom og beliggenhet, de ansatte var kjempe hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Bassenget og området var flott

Great location with a friendly staff. The location is convenient two minutes walk to a train station and bus stop. Food and cafes are within walking distance.

We arrived at the hotel and were given a room with no air con and no way of opening the window. We were told that the hotel does not provide air con and it is on its winter setting despite us visiting in April and it being above 20 outside. If you want air con don’t expect it despite them advertising the hotel as having it. Eventually, after complaining, we were upgraded to a room where you could open a window which we were satisfied with. The cleaning was quite poor, we were left with no soap for 2 out of our 4 day stay. The toilet situation in the room was not hygienic, there was no basin in the separate toilet to wash your hands. We thought that the room was very dated for the price we paid. The breakfast was okay but nothing special. At times, it lacked variety.

The property was generally clean. However if you get, as they put it a 'basic' room, it does not come with the basic items you would expect or are complimentary at other hotels such as shampoo, conditioner, lotion etc. Generally the staff was friendly and helpful although some left much to be desired.

Personnel très agréable - chambre propre - très bien placé

The room did not have body lotion or conditioner, we found it strange and expected these items to be part of any hotel room. When we asked we were told we were told that it did not include those items as our room was a category basic. My recommendation at the minimum they should have a 30ml bottle of these items in each room.
