Riad Abaka by Ghali

Riad is very beautiful and room is very nice in the quite place. Anyway, the service and staffs are really ruin my holiday. 1) I did reservation for 3 weeks in advance and I requested to stay in room#4 for my stay. This riad replied back and said my request is confirmed. But when I arrived the riad, room #4 was assigned to other people one day before. I have to stay in another room on my first night and change my room to #4 on the second night. 2) On the second day I left my luggage in my room and went out to look around. When I came back at night, I found someone broke zipper of my luggage as see in attached picture. Fortunately, I just locked my luggage with nothing valuable inside. Nothing lost. I informed the riad and only apology received. 3) I did the reservation from expedia with non-refundable rate and I paid in full once I made the reservation. That's mean I do not have to pay more for my stay except the tax. But when I checked out, the staffs at riad said they did not receive the money for my stay and they want me to pay money twice. I refused to pay but they try to hold me half an hour for argument eventough I show my reservation paper stated that room rate was already paid. How can this riad do not know the transaction process with expedia and try to get money from me? This is insane and non-responsible to force customer pay money twice. What's a pitty for such beautiful riad? Other riads are much better service and easy to find.

Our room was spotless, quiet, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. The inner courtyard and pool are a peaceful oasis, perfect for unwinding after a day exploring the souks. But what truly makes Riad Abaka special is the staff – incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Every request was met with a smile, and we felt cared for at every moment. Breakfast was a highlight: fresh, local ingredients served on the rooftop terrace with breathtaking views – the perfect way to start the day. Highly recommended for anyone seeking authenticity, beauty, and heartfelt hospitality in the heart of Marrakech. We will definitely be back!

A lovely riad. Staff are incredibly helpful. We only stayed for 1 night and they ensured we had all the information we needed for our stay. They also provided us with a phone number in case we got lost. 10/10 would recommand this beautiful place

Nous Avons passé une semaine dans ce riad. Un coin calme au cœur de la médina. Facile d àcces, le personnel est au petit soin disponible, et à répondu à toutes nos questions. Le petit déjeuné très copieux.

Welcome could have been better. Rooms were too dim. Room service for cleaning was non existent. Breakfast was okay. Overall staff service could improve.

It was great expeirence, really enjoyed our stay. All the staff was excellent, helping and polite, except Fatima. She was not polite at all and got on our nerves for no reason. The place itself is amazing.

The Riad was nice and beautiful, maybe softer beds. There was a lot of noise in the streets around the riad in de night.

Muy buena ubicación, decoración muy bonita y personal de 10, muy amables, nos ayudaron en todas nuestras dudas.

Nos gusto mucho, acogedor, personal súper amable, limpieza, decoración muy típica del lugar, desayunos completos y muy cerca de la plaza principal.

Charmant Riad au cœur de la Médina, au centre des souks et non loin de la place Jeema El Fna. Nous avons été agréablement surprises que la WiFi soit disponible et gratuite dans tout l'etablissemt. Autre point positif le service petit déjeuner, servi tous les matin sur la terrasse couverte du riad, cadre agréable et personnel très sympathique, de plus le petit déjeuner était très copieu et savoureu. Pour les points négatifs: GROS manque d'informations de la part de la réception! si l'on n'est pas vigilant la note peut être salée... Premier constat, on nous facture 3€ de frais de ménage par nuit et par personne ! Somme exorbitante pour un service qui n'était pas à la hauteur. Il faut réclamer des serviettes propres sinon rien ne sera changé durant votre séjour Les bouteilles d'eau vous sont données avec le sourire mais vous sont facturées 3€ Autre soucis rencontré, l'excursion Quad prise via le Riad. Grosse arnaque... Une prestation loin de ce que nous avions demandé et donc un tarif bien trop élevé comparé à d'autres organismes trouvés sur le net. Le choix de passer par le riad nous avait séduit par sa prise en charge (navette + guide + location) mais au final nous nous sommes retrouvées avec un chauffeur à peine aimable qui nous a déposées au milieu du désert d'Agafay dans une cours miserable avec des animaux en souffrance, 5 quads dans un hangard et des hommes parlant à peine l'Anglais ou le Francais... De plus la balade a duré 1h et non 2 comme prevu initialement!

Buen alojamiento situado muy cerca de la plaza Yamaa el Fna. Muy limpio y cómodo. Sin embargo, ahora mismo parece que el Riad original está en reformas, y el edificio es uno anexo. Las habitaciones son como en las fotos, sin embargo el patio es diferente y la piscina también.

Nettes, kleines Riad. Flughafentransfer hat super geklappt.

Riad très bien placé en plein centre des souks, rénovation totale récente, le personnel est très accueillant, un grand merci à Azziz et à Hassan qui font tout pour qu'on passe un bon séjour.
