O hotel é extremamente bem localizado e o acesso muito fácil. Embora seja um prédio antigo, está reformado e com todos os equipamentos bem conservados. A equipe de funcionários é excelente: prestativos, educados e flexíveis com os horários estipulados. O café da manhã é completo com tudo muito fresco.

Rooms are very small, bathrooms and rooms are dated and I found the hotel itself very noisy.

Fint läge med nära till i stort sett allt. Man kan lätt ta sig till fots alternativt cykel till alla sevärdheter. Vi var nöjda med personalen. De var vänliga och hjälpsamma. Rummet var nyrenoverat och rent. Vi återkommer definitivt till hotellet i snar framtid.

The hotel is quirky as it had been an old theatre. Has a retro look. The room was a bit dated but very clean. The bathroom was large with a great shower. Location is ideal and walkable from the Central Train Station. It was a perfect location from which to explore the city. Many restaurants and shopping within easy walking distance.

We had just come off a boat cruise so it was early but they got our room ready as soon as possible and stored our luggage till it was ready. Good neighborhood lots of restaurants and across from Dam Square and shopping.

WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. We barely survived three nights. Let’s begin with the lobby, it’s cool and the only good part about hotel. Our first sign of doom was the fact that you can’t bring back any uncovered hot food back to the lobby or room, that’s probably because there was no trash in the room and housekeeping did absolutely nothing. The second sign, and BIGGEST red flag, was the fact that the room looked nothing like the photos on the listing or website. This would have been fine but for the fact that the room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since it was decorated in the 60s; There was stains on the carpet, pubes left in the bathroom, weird marks on the walls, stained towels ( there when we checked in and we were also given stained towels when housekeeping came through), and bugs ( a spider made a star appearance our second night right on one of the beds), the curtains were also in horrible condition and very stained. When housekeeping came through the second night all that was done was empty the tiny trash in the bathroom, give us “new” towels and make the beds; no actual cleaning was done that we saw, there was still strange hair in the bathroom and weird stains. The walls were also incredibly thin, we could hear conversations in the rooms next to us, one guy was throwing up all hours of the day and we could hear it so clearly ( like it was happening in our room and not his). Also I’m like 99% sure our air conditioning was fake. Only saving grace was it’s location

Carpets stained and dirty. Lobby sofa extremely dirty and stained. Only one tiny thrash can in room One tiny sliver of soap bar for two people No hot water or coffee in room. They have the nerve to charge 1 euro for hot water! Wish we had read more reviews. Buyer be ware!

A reasonably priced historic hotel in the heart of old-town Amsterdam. Lots of shopping and dining in the area and good access to public transportation. On the edge of the Red-light district, so late night safety might be a concern. Rooms and bathrooms are small as is to be expected for an historic facility, but well appointed. Excellent breakfast with hot and cold options including scrambled eggs, sausages, cold meats, cheeses, yogurt, pastries and fruit. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall a good and reasonably priced choice for a trip to Amsterdam.

Excellent location, room 140 very funky, all kinds of step ups to get in room and to bathroom, very outdated, but large room. It was clean and quiet with comfy bed.

Very quick process. Even gave us access to our room early!

Trevlig personal, bra frukost, rent men mycket lyhört. hotellet ligger bra till, är prisvärt men har inte renoverats på ett tag. Det skulle behövas.

Great location. Could walk almost everywhere. Friendly helpful staff. Only negative is that on the weekends you may hear some street noise but this didnt stop us sleeping! Would definitely stay here again!
