The stay for a week was great. Their Staff is one of the best I have ever encountered. The Front Desk folks were super, esp NADIA who went over and above to make sure that me with my arthritis and neuropathy problems was able to get around and helped get me with help to the Train Station and Disabilities Folks for train to Paris!!!

I enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel is centrally situated, near a metro stop and the train station. The staff was very helpful; the breakfast was good, the air conditioning worked well, and the room was clean.

This hotel has a great location within walking distance to much of what I wanted to see. Most importantly, I could walk to the central train station to catch trains to other countries. The hotel is clean and well maintained, and the staff is very courteous and helpful. I wouldn't call the breakfast fabulous, but it is certainly well done and met my needs nicely. I was upgraded from a single to a double, and, unfortunately, even the double is pretty small. Two tiny beds in a very small room. The bathroom is functional, but that's the best I can say about it. One of the nicest things was that I could open the windows. I was there in April, and the heat was on, so the fresh air helped a lot. Rooms were cleaned daily without even asking. Very quiet. Only one elevator, which did not turn out to be a problem for me. I'm glad I made this choice, rather than the other options I had in mind, primarily because of the location.

The room was quite old and not very well maintained with stains on the walls, ceilings and carpets. I wasn’t expecting it to be perfect but definitely could do something about the stains. It is a good location, staff are great and helpful, the breakfast is decent and has a good variety. The lobby is the best feature of the hotel. The air conditioning appears to be centrally controlled and was turned off making the room quite hot and relied on a single window to cool things down which it didn’t until later at night. The stay was fine, bed was comfortable and I chose not to get daily cleaning as there were enough towels for my stay.

The hotel is located in a perfectly location, easily walk to major city attraction of Amsterdam. The inside room is relatively small and old. The bathroom is small with a very small sink, the shower room is also very small. Otherwise, still good for the price. If you just want to walk around the Amsterdam city centre, and maybe need to go back to the hotel anytime during your travel. It's a good choice. Not good for the people need luxurious. Not good for the family with small kids.

for the people with knee issues recommend to ask at the time of chk in for no steps room cuz some of the floors you have to take five steps with your luggage cuz there is no bell boy service available, make sure about the bathroom is not smelly , you get the room service but no changes of towels and no bed making, have to ask for. breakfast was okay air conditioning thermostat was fixed at the colder side not coming down so we have to turn it off

This hotel is an older property. You can’t beat the location, and that’s the main allure. As an older hotel, there are few outlets and none by the bed. There’s also no in room coffee service or free coffee other than at the breakfast buffet. The hotel doesn’t have great sound proofing, but does provide ear plugs. The other oddity is that as many European hotels, they have single beds pushed together. The Rho hotel doesn’t use any straps or even a single sheet, causing you to fall between the beds if not careful! But you absolutely cannot beat the location!

Overall, great value for the money and highly recommended if you just need a convenient place to sleep and convenient great breakfast before you head out for the day. 15 minute walk to Anne Frank’s museum and the heart of canal belt/ Jordaan, 15 minute walk to Centraal train station (trains to airport, to nearby windmill village, etc.), less than 10 min walk to the red light district.

Negatives: hotel is outdated and rooms are very modest. Positives: rooms are reasonably clean, excellent location and excellent breakfast. Overall, great value for the money and highly recommended if you just need a convenient place to sleep and convenient great breakfast before you head out for the day. 15 minute walk to Anne Frank’s museum and the heart of canal belt/ Jordaan, 15 minute walk to Centraal train station (trains to airport, to nearby windmill village, etc.), less than 10 min walk to the red light district.

The breakfast was good but is the same exact things every morning. The room could use a good cleaning. Under the bed was very dirty. The shower would go from hot to cold. Made washing my hair a challenge. This hotel is old and could use some love.
