All the staff were amazing!! Friendly, warm, helpful, polite, available, approachable, relatable. The room was nice, clean, warm, had all the expected features and ‘stuff’ available. Breakfast was fresh, tasty, well cooked and served with a welcoming personality. The staff are the real stars here but the hotel will definitely get a repeat visit.

The hotel was nice but already a bit outdated and worn out. It's a smaller scale boutique hotel next to a Haymarket Railway station. Rooms are spacy, the basic room was lower ground floor. The breakfast was filling but a bit expensive for a price of 17£.

A decent room in a brilliant location, and friendly staff. Our bathroom was notably cold though, with next to no insulation during what was a cold snap - even by Edinburgh standards. Shower steam settled and cooled on everything, making for a bit of a slip hazard.

Nous avons beaucoup misé sur cet hôtel, très joli sur les photos et plutôt bien placé (accès au château à 30 min à pied, sinon de nombreux transports au bout de la rue). Personnel accueillant au Check in (un peu moins au Check out). Petit déjeuner en supplément, au vu des nombreuses options de restauration aux alentours nous ne l’avons pas pris. L’hôtel dispose de plusieurs bâtiments, nous étions 2 portes plus loin que l’entrée principale. En soit cela n’est pas un problème, mais nous n’avions que très peu de wifi fonctionnel… ce qui est assez problématique n’ayant pas un forfait téléphonique à l’étranger. Très dommage de ce côté, il ne fonctionnait quasiment jamais. Nécessaire dans la chambre pour café et thé, + des petits gâteaux spéculos
