โฮสเทล เลวันเต

We came here after a 14 day Transatlantic cruise, a bit tired after backpacking from the port. To our delight, our room was ready very early. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The room is clean and very adequate. Bathroom and shower are great. We really enjoyed the view down on the Gothic Quarter, and that the window opens for sone fresh air! Air-conditioning worked well, too. There is an elevator if you need one, but we enjoyed walking up and down the stairs. We felt very welcome and safe. Restaurants, cafes, shops and markets are plentiful. We enjoyed our stay in Hostal Levante!

Es ist ein Hostal, kein Hotel, also ist alles einfach und es gibt keinerlei Einrichtungen. Das gebotene Zimmer war also einfach, ohne Aussicht, aber sauber und für meine zwei Tage absolut ausreichend. Alle Mitarbeiter waren super freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Wanted a good value, well located place to stay in Barcelona with a private bathroom - this place was perfect. Could not argue with the price, clean and functional room. This isn't luxury - it's basic and functional and done extremely well. There is a safe in the room and the air con was extremely effective and very much weclomed during summer heat wave! Though finding a balance on not too cold was a struggle for me haha. but much needed air con is always welcomed! there is a kettle for refreshments before you head out for the day. There is no tv in the room but not needed if you are out and about. The location is just a few minutes walk from La Rambla and easy to reach several metro stations. It can be a bit of a maze around there, but once you've found it, you're sorted. the 24 hour front desk is brilliant for if you arrive early or late, and you can store your luggage there too. All staff I met were friendly and helpful. Couldn't fault them. The accomdation was full when I was there, so I expecting it to effect noise levels with people coming and going, but i did not experience that. I think with its promixity to a busy area it can be noisy, but i also didnt experience it - but they do provide ear plugs too so be aware of that if you are a light sleeper - i take ear plugs anyway but as i say, i did not experience excessive noise. overall this was just perfect for what I needed and I'm so glad I picked it!
