We were in Kamala to celebrate my 60th birthday for 6 nights and it was one of the best travel experiences of my life. The accommodation was apartment style with spacious and separated kitchen, living, bathroom, bedroom and balcony areas. I travelled with 2 girlfriends and we each had our own room. Management tried to do the right thing by situating us in the same complex within close proximity of each other, however there was an adjacent property where earthworks were taking place so there was a lot of construction noise. We asked the wonderful team at reception if we could be moved which they accommodated on our second day so we weren’t inconvenienced in any way as the noise ceased promptly at 5pm. The breakfasts were scrumptious, there were plenty of pools to choose from, but our favourite was the New York rooftop bar and pool where we enjoyed cocktails and the best pizza any of us had ever had. There's a regular tuk tuk shuttle to Kamala Beach arriving there in less than 5 minutes but when one of them was booked out the driver happily came back to collect us outside of the scheduled time. It was only a 10-15 minute walk anyway with the village markets and lots of shops and eateries. Transport to other areas was easily accessible and economical using Grab, and we took advantage of that to go to the main shopping mall about 35 minutes away, as well as one of the best restaurants in Patong where we celebrated my actual birthday over dinner. The spa was absolutely glorious.

Clean, nice rooms, 3 pools, delicious breakfast! My husband left his phone outside when we were checking out, we contacted them and they sent in a cab for us all the way to the rassada pier- very much appreciated!!! We we able to make our connection to phi phi island- thank you!!

Poolen er ret beskidt. Værelset er nogenlunde. Kedelig morgenmads buffet. Har rejst til thailand hvert år de sidste 16 år og dette hotel er en af de ringeste jeg har besøgt. Det skal os lige siges at jeg altid foretrækker ret lækre hoteller. Dette er første gang i Kamala.

The room is more worn than appears in website pictures. There is no vanity in bathroom only a sink which makes it hard to get ready for the day. Also no towel racks make it hard to know where to put your towels after a shower except the floor. Shower was weird, water sprayed everywhere, would get 1/4 of the bathroom floor wet while showering. Most everything else was fine. Wouldn’t recommend.

No internet for entire stay. The entrance was lovely. but from there the whole hotel and amenities were extremely lacking. The buffet breakfast was fine, but choice limited if staying more than a few days. Pool so unhygienic it was disgraceful and missing large amounts of tiles, scum build up of many months along the water line. What looked like rust along the floor lighting in the pool. The rooftop pool was also full of scum and limescale built up on the water line, only 5 sun beds in that area. Also one of the pool lights was lying on the pool floor with the electric cable attached. Rusty screw holes visible. When pointed out to member of the staff, he said ‘ it’s no problem. It’s ok”. Mentioned to reception staff of poor quality/wifi, “so sorry”was the reply. Would definitely not recommend and would warn parents not to let children in the pool due to very poor hygiene. Very dated decor, in need of a total repaint and also forgot to mention building work on both sides of the hotel. One site only just started. Good location for walking to the beach.

Clean, nice rooms, 3 pools, delicious breakfast! My husband left his phone outside when we were checking out, we contacted them and they sent in a cab for us all the way to the rassada pier- very much appreciated!!! We we able to make our connection to phi phi island- thank you!!

The room is showing signs of wear. The breakfast was always cold. Terrible coffee in the room. Pool was rusty. Bartenders make up drink prices as they go. I would not be booking again.

Helt greit hotell ca 10 min fra Kamala stranden. Veldig hyggelig betjening, gode senger. Fine rom, føles litt som et byhotell, med høye bygninger. Perfekt for unge som vil trene på ferie og ikke bryr seg om at det er en anleggsplass rett over veien for hotellet. De startet ikke før 10.

shower Water temperature inconsistent (i could not finish a 10 minute shower with hot water), old building, housekeepers very inexperienced (they left my room door unlocked and open after cleaning once, and anyone could have just come in and taken things. They also left their dirty cleaning rags in my room more than once. I stayed 5 nights.), good amount of space in the suite, pool area is nice, WiFi was poor and unacceptable, not generally a nice hotel but nice location, would not book here again.

We were in Kamala to celebrate my 60th birthday for 6 nights and it was one of the best travel experiences of my life. The accommodation was apartment style with spacious and separated kitchen, living, bathroom, bedroom and balcony areas. I travelled with 2 girlfriends and we each had our own room. Management tried to do the right thing by situating us in the same complex within close proximity of each other, however there was an adjacent property where earthworks were taking place so there was a lot of construction noise. We asked the wonderful team at reception if we could be moved which they accommodated on our second day so we weren’t inconvenienced in any way as the noise ceased promptly at 5pm. The breakfasts were scrumptious, there were plenty of pools to choose from, but our favourite was the New York rooftop bar and pool where we enjoyed cocktails and the best pizza any of us had ever had. There's a regular tuk tuk shuttle to Kamala Beach arriving there in less than 5 minutes but when one of them was booked out the driver happily came back to collect us outside of the scheduled time. It was only a 10-15 minute walk anyway with the village markets and lots of shops and eateries. Transport to other areas was easily accessible and economical using Grab, and we took advantage of that to go to the main shopping mall about 35 minutes away, as well as one of the best restaurants in Patong where we celebrated my actual birthday over dinner. The spa was absolutely glorious.

Poolen er ret beskidt. Værelset er nogenlunde. Kedelig morgenmads buffet. Har rejst til thailand hvert år de sidste 16 år og dette hotel er en af de ringeste jeg har besøgt. Det skal os lige siges at jeg altid foretrækker ret lækre hoteller. Dette er første gang i Kamala.

The room is more worn than appears in website pictures. There is no vanity in bathroom only a sink which makes it hard to get ready for the day. Also no towel racks make it hard to know where to put your towels after a shower except the floor. Shower was weird, water sprayed everywhere, would get 1/4 of the bathroom floor wet while showering. Most everything else was fine. Wouldn’t recommend.
