The duty manager that was there upon arrival was really helpful. He sorted our carpark booking and also made us aware of the local restaurants for our evening meal. After going for something to eat, returning I found the bathroom tap to be loose, so reported it to him and he said he would get o=it sorted next morning, which was ok with us as the tap was of no issue to us. THe room was spotless, and the facilities were of good quality. THe bed was so comfortable. Aircon was a bonus as it was really hot. We didnt stay for breakfast as I was due for skydiving on saturday 23rd May so didnt want to eat too much. Check out was an easy process too

I upgraded to larger room, it was clean, very comfortable, bathroom clean & functional. Unfortunately my 'upgrade' was a room right next to main corridor door on ground floor, to say it was noisy is an understatement. The biggest issue was not the hotels fault, as the people in the room above were so loud, it sounded like there was a party going on & constantly banging on their floor. The lovely receptionist did kindly go & ask them to stop when I complained at around 9.45pm, which they did, for 10mins then started again until after 11pm. Definitely not what I paid extra for. Not on my list of hotels/motels to ever use again

Great hotel for the money. Room was better than a lot of Premier Inns these days. Very helpful staff. Would stay again.

Room was very clean and modern, bed was a super king and mattress was comfortable. No road noise whatsoever from A1. Reception and corridors all very modern. Car charging is available on site

I didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment, but it looked fresh. Had a coffee but was luke warm, could not be warmed up as it was from a machine. Staff super helpful when I requested to move to a bigger room. Manager was very helpful too. The only thing that let the hotel down is that the walls and floors could be thicker, a family that were staying seemed to let their children run free, up and down the corridors! Was annoying. Could not hear the traffic noise at all. Aircon was nice. Definitely would stay here again. Great value for money.

Room was spacious and comfortable and the room was spotless and a comfortable temperature when we entered it. Staff were friendly and warm and the room had everything that we required.

Easy to check in. Was very surprised how well kept and clean the room was and actually matched the photos, very impressed. Also very quiet considering it is right next to the A1. On returning from a wedding we had the pleasure of speaking with Michael on reception who is a credit to the hotel, fantastic hospitality and chat, such a laugh! Will definitely stay again if needs be.

A lovely clean modern hotel with quality furnishings and decor. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Would have preferred opening rather than fixed windows. Would definitely stay here again. Well done Wyndham Super 8!

Room was spacious with a huge bed. Styling of the room was really cool and it was immaculate. Bathroom was great with a big shower. Right next door to motorway services with a McDonald's and Costa. Staff are really friendly with a laid-back vibe. I wasn't expecting much but this hotel is amazing. I would definitely stay here again.

Friendly and helpfull staff 24hr front desk. Basic Breakfast available however other places inside service station and a starbucks or greggs just down the road. Lunch and evening meal menu available or again can use the service station outlets. Personaly I just had food in the hotel. Rooms are pretty good and shower is great 👍

Not clean Pet hotel Not suitable for anyone with animal allergies When we arrived at the hotel at 11:30pm we then found out that the room was a room used for owners with pets We were not offered a room pet free. As it was so late and been driving for over 6hrs we looked at the room - but the room had a really strong cleaning product smell - probably trying to mask the animal smells, and looking closely on the floor you could see animal hair. So we left the room as it was not suitable for us. The animal smell etc is a problem as we both suffer from Asthma and dog / cat smell / hair can give us an asthma attack So after driving 6hrs to the hotel we could not stay and had to decline the room. As it was now after midnight it was too late to book anywhere online so we had to sleep in the car. At no time during the booking for this hotel did it state all rooms would be used by animals - if I had known this I would not had booked this room. The staff member at the desk could not deal with the booking issue so she wrote down my mobile number for the manager to give me a call. It’s now Monday and I still have not received a call. I would like a refund for the distress this has caused, maybe highlight in the booking that this hotel is a pet hotel for future guests
