Wehr ein einfaches gutes Hotel sucht ist hier gut aufgehoben

Nachdem ich bereits bei der Reservation um ein ruhiges Zimmer, das nicht zur Strasse liegt, gebeten hatte, habe ich diesen Wunsch beim Check-in nochmals ausdrücklich wiederholt. Die Rezeptionistin war jedoch nicht in der Lage, mir Auskunft darüber zu geben, ob das mir zugeteilte Zimmer diesem Wunsch entspricht. Tatsächlich lag es direkt an der stark befahrenen Zollstrasse, sodass wir nur wenige Stunden Schlaf fanden. Zudem wusste sie auch nicht Bescheid, ob das Zimmer über ein Doppelbett oder zwei separate Betten verfügt. Aus sprachlichen Gründen verstand sie meine letzte Frage, mit der ich in Erfahrung bringen wollte, ob es möglich sei, nach dem Check-out ein Gepäckstück für mehrere Stunden aufzubewahren, gar nicht erst. Ein derart mangelhaft geschultes Personal stellt eine schlechte Visitenkarte dar und entspricht nicht den Erwartungen, die man als Gast an ein Hotel dieser Kategorie haben darf.

Das Hotel liegt gleich an der Grenze zu Basel, ist aber deutlich günstiger. Tram fährt vor dem Hotel ab. Parkmöglichkriten mit Parkhaus im Gebäude.

As a North American, I was pleased by the large rooms, real air conditioning (not the one that stops at 26C/79F). Location is interesting with the Dreiländerbrücke/three countries bridge/passerelle des trois pays nearby. It is a big shopping centre and traffic can be a bit loud, but stops when the center closes. Be careful if you have a Swiss travel pass, it doesn't cover the German part of the tramway line.

Les chambres étaient propres et très spacieuses

Location is great. very close to public transportation. staff are nice. room is okay, with stand fan not working, floods in the bathroom when showering as shower curtain is flimsy. initially had a hard time looking for this hotel, no signage on the ground floor entrance. hotel is in the same building as best western, reception to check in is on the 5th floor, had a hard time looking for it! Overall, for the price compared to downtown basel hotels, its worth the stay.

Tout etait parfait. Une erreur de communication du late check out non signalé à la dame de chambre qui nous a reveillés. Ils ont gentillement remboursé le surcout en guise d excuse. Tres aimable

Das Maximilian ist ein in die Jahre gekommenes Hotel. Es ist ordentlich und sauber, dennoch ist die Einrichtung in die Jahre gekommen. Das freundliche Personal und das kostenfreie Parken machen vieles wett. Wir haben es als Übernachtungsmöglichkeit genutzt bevor wir am frühen Morgen zum Euro Airport weiter gefahren sind.

Tolles Frühstücksbüfett, Betten in Ordnung, Teppichboden hat unangenehm gemuffelt und die Couch wirkte herabgekommen,dafür sehr freundliches Personal und herausragende Lage

建物はやや古いですが、きれいに清掃されており、バスルームはリフォームされていて、快適でした。シャワーブースに床暖房がついており、暖かかったです。 トラムの駅から近く、ショッピングセンターの建物内にホテルがあるため便利でした。 チェックイン、チェックアウトの際、スタッフの方も感じが良かったです。

Good hotel. Convenient location. Rooms look worn out but spacious. We had a family room which was great for the four of us. Parking is free but it is a little bit complicated since there is not a direct connection between the hotel and parking which is a 8-9 stories building.

Ruhiges Zimmer, ordentlich, freundliches Personal.

the room booked had first one bed less then indicated. was asked to pay a surcharge to get the room I wanted. the a while I got a free upgrade but the room I entered was already occupied. the staff was helpful but it took me one hour to get in the room

Praktisch für mit der Tram nach Basel

We had a fantastic stay at Maxamillion hotel, staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much bother for them. We had a slight issue with our hot water supplies no big issues, but staff sorted it out for us. Our beds were so comfortable and clean, we had a kitchen in our room with a fridge which was amazing. The hotel is in a great location, outside our hotel is the bridge you can walk over into France. I would Definitely recommend this hotel for friendliness, location, and great staff. I would definitely would stay here again. Thank you for a wonderful hospitality
