This package takes you to Mae Sai in Chiang Rai where you cross the border to explore a town in Myanmar - Tha Khi Lek. During a rickshaw ride through small lanes around the town you will see local people's way of life, a Shan-style temple, and then end up at the famous border market where a wide range of goods from Southern China, Myanmar, and Laos are offered at very cheap prices. After shopping, you will take a long-tail boat trip on the mighty Mae Khong river (Mekong) to see the Golden Triangle area where the border of Laos, Myanmar, and Thailand meet at the confluence of the Ruak and Mae Khong Rivers.
