Eastern Sands City Centre

Staff accomodating my request for a ground floor room.

Room is totally outdated. Torny towels, old n dirty furnitures, mouldy bath room, left over food by previous guests, un professionals staffs, noisy n loud water pipe, dirty n damaged furnitures at parking lots in full view of patrons, constant untrained staffs k nocking on door just to check whether guest damage or stole property. unannounced $200 bond.lost item never return.bond $200 but force.

The room was dirty and we had hair and crumbs in our bed

We couldnt contact the staff to find where the keys were to enter our room for over half an hour for late checkin. Upon getting into our room there was half a pizza left in the fridge

Great view but can hear the neighbouring rooms like there in the same room. Tv didn’t work but overall was ok

Staff were excellent helping out with a slightly later check out which helped out greatly to pick up our newborn from hospital

Room was not what we expected from their website. Curtains were torn, window filthy stopping enjoying the view of bay. Bed uncomfortable, sheets didn’t look fresh, towels were frayed and thin. Eastern Sands is anything but luxurious as stated in the website. Would not recommend this motel. The only positive was the position where it was.

They have dodgy comp rent rooms on their behalf. They charge you more then the original price they tell and withdrawl even more then they say they charged. Then when i try to cancel they say go through the comp you book with but when i exp i can't so im asking you to do it she played dumb and then tell me it's not her problem and hung up on me. Rings me back today and when i answer she hangs up. Pathetic. I will be making sure i air it on every site possible you are thieves and your hotel is nothing but filth and your service is terrible and never to use your services. I'll even tell them about the hidden cameras fond in the rooms

Rubbish strewn around carpark. My room not cleaned and no clean towels for the 3 night stay. Could not access clean towels due to no staff on duty. TV worked intermittently. Have stayed here before with great service . This stay was frustrating.

When arrived, we could only get 3 tv channels. Our booking stated cable was available. When asking reception staff they said they didn’t know about it and yes, only a few tv channels available (not HD TVs). I stated the booking information advised otherwise and staff said they’d only just taken over management and don’t know. Upon returning to our room late at night, we noticed our shower had quite a lot of male body hair on the shower base. The previous guest had also blown their nose in the shower and this was dried on the shower tiles. It was too late to notify staff. Our towels were fraying also. No big deal, just unprofessional. We only required a bed & bathroom for the night for a very short overnight stay, nothing fancy. But this was unclean and unhygienic. I work in a family run cleaning business and would never leave a bathroom in that condition. Very disappointed and could not advise staff upon checkout as office closed. Have emailed the property to advise and that we also have photos for reference if required.
