Vibe Hotel Sydney

We were upgraded our stay. Clean room in a quiet neighbourhood. Toilet flush was quite weak and made noises in the middle of the night.

Great

Good location. Bathroom would benefit from a deep clean to remove silicone mould and build up. Bedroom a little tired, but spacious family room.

Dry minimal extras. e.g. bathroom accessories. Very small milk carton in fridge. No biscuits. Only mini bar items. Other than this an add and convenient stay.

Staff were helpful and always pleasant. Breakfast was fairly average (not many options if allergies are an issue). We had to change rooms as the shower was not operational; this was arranged fairly promptly. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were terrible. The sheets were not always clean (stains on them) and when my child wet the bed they changed the sheets byt not the underlay which makes me seriously question what else is on them!

We always stay at the Vibe Hotel on Goulburn Street when we come to the city. It is perfectly located, the staff are warm and welcoming, and the rooms are very comfortable. We love the breakfast and are always amazed at the great value offered on the in-room dining menu.

Modern, clean and in a great location. Nice bar and cafe. We would stay again.

Tired hotel, not very clean.

The breakfast was not super good

The location of the hotel is great and very convenient, however the room experience unfortunately let the stay down. We were placed on the first floor, which shares space with conference rooms and guest rooms. There is a door separating the two areas, however it was frequently left open, meaning people from the conference could easily walk through the hotel room corridor. This made the area feel exposed and contributed to constant noise from people walking past, talking, and moving things around. We could also hear noise from outside the hotel. The room faced a brightly lit alley, and the blackout curtains did not fully block out the light, making it difficult to sleep. Privacy was also an issue as the room looked directly into a gym in a nearby building, where people could see into the room. There was also confusion around accessing facilities. Signs says the pool and gym were on level 9, however the lift only went to level 8 and our key did not allow access, with no clear guidance provided. Service was mixed, one staff member at check-in was not particularly welcoming, while the staff member at check-out was lovely and helpful. Overall, while the location is a plus, the room allocation, noise, lack of separation from public areas, and access issues significantly impacted the stay. I would recommend requesting a higher, quieter floor if staying here.

Great location and friendly staff we enjoyed our stay. Rooms are a little outdated and bathrooms are in need of an update. Overall happy with the place

Room was actually great size. I think because of the shape of the building I had a comfortable lounge space plus bed and then some of extra room. Bathroom needed updating. Shower pressure wasn’t so good. And bring ear plugs as noise from city street isn’t blocked out too well. But overall I enjoyed my stay, would stay again.

I would request a minimum of 25% refund. I was shocked by my room. When I mentioned this I was told that “as we are central that’s why the price is so high” I was then given breakfast but don’t feel this is enough given the amount I paid

Internet fine staff extremely helpful and kind. Suite.. clean, restaurant good. Hotel.. little dated but fine for us.

An overnight stay of work. Close to rail and light rail and the Stonehouse Cafe provided quick service and a very reasonable menu re options and prices. Good quality wifi for video conferencing and spacious room. Very quiet for my stay on the fifth floor.

large hotel with little atmosphere. got an upgrade but it was t a family room with 3 beds ( single traveller) and window looking out onto a wall. Room pretty old and tired - especially bath/shower

Very helpful friendly staff. Great breakfast choice. Pool sunbeds could do with an update. Easy wallk to tyhe Opera House. Plentry of shops restaurants and bars nearby.

Loved the roof-top pool, and the gym location nearby.
