Borthalan Hotel

This was a great stay in a perfect location. Lovely room with a sea view,with everything you would need for a three night stay. The cooked breakfast was excellent, and the hosts Margaret and Martin were superb.

We were met with a really warm greeting from our hosts. They really made our stay, very knowledgeable about the local area and couldn't do enough to help. We had a good choice for breakfast which was freshly cooked and delicious. We stayed in Cozy Cove which is a lovely little double room with a fabulous view of the bay. Lots of thoughtful little touches like usb sockets, lots of plugs and coathangers. Everywhere was spotless and very homely. We did see previous reviews about the bathroom being small. It's not massive but it is really fresh looking and we didn't have any issues at all (and we're not skinny). Excellent location and parking on site. We'd definitely come back.

The Borthalan Hotel was amazing from the friendly and extremely helpful owners to the beautiful facilities and view. The owners provided all that we needed to get into St Ives and to walk around the local Carbis Bay Area - this made the visit that much more enjoyable. There is plenty of parking if you are driving to the Borthalan - which was a huge plus. The Breakfast was absolutely wonderful and they met all of my wife’s gluten allergy needs. We will absolutely visit again.
