The rooms are beautifully decorated, with vintage touches. They’re clean, well-appointed, and each has its own unique character. And while Chalk & Cheese feels like a step back in time, it doesn’t sacrifice comfort—plush beds, soft linens, and modern amenities ensure a restful stay. Not managed to investigate the Antique shop yet, but will make sure I do on my next visit. Whether you’re here for a romantic getaway, a solo retreat, or just passing through, Chalk & Cheese B&B is a place that will make you want to linger a little longer.

Beautiful place and hosts, very friendly and comfortable. Makes working away from home a pleasure. As a lone female I feel safe and looked after. Breakfast is superb.

Comfortable, quirky and interesting accommodation. The people that ran it were lovely. The cooked breakfast was delicious! Good quality, tasty food. Would stay again if we were back in the area.
