Dolphin Inn

L'Hotel Dolphin Inn est très bien situé à Londres tout proche de la station de transport en commun Paddington (Zone 1 des transports en communs). L'accueil est cordial et le service discrêt et efficace. Le personnel ne parle pas du tout français mais fait tout son possible pour être à l'écoute du client. Nous avons utilisé une chambre quadruple avec 2 lits superposés. La literie est correcte, la chambre et les sanitaires sont propres et en bon état même si quelques rafraichissement de certains matériaux ne serait pas du luxe (parquet abimé ou faience de salle de bain fissurée). L'endroit est calme (situé dans un square avec un jardin) mais le bruit et les vibrations du métro son vraiment présents. Cela ne nous a pas empêché de bien dormir ! Le petit déjeuner sous format buffet était simple mais suffisant pour démarrer la journée.

This is a worn down older hotel, the nonpotable water from the tap was a surprise for me, there are serveral convenience stores to buy bottles nearby though. Check in and out was a bit haphazard and check out was literally just drop the keycard off at the desk.

Great location, room and breakfast

Calme, propre et bien situé.

Staff were friendly. Room walls were paper thin. Other guests were VERY noisy. Shower took an age to warm up and was then alternately boiling and freezing. Room was cold, luckily I was sole occupant of a twin room so used bith duvets. Bed was comfy.

Whenever visiting London, I tend to stay in similar hotels in Paddington, and this was similar to all others. Economical. Convenient to transportation. Friendly staff. Room provided what we needed.

Ótima localização, metrô perto e vários restaurantes, o quarto foi bem aconchegante, único porém foi devido ao banheiro estar vazando e molhando, tanto o banheiro como o frigobar. Não aconselho ir no verão, não tem ar-condicionado, apenas 1 ventilador para 4 camas beliches. Como fui no outubro, a época ainda estava fria, fazendo em média de 9 a 14 graus, devido q isso o quarto n ficou muito quente. Fora isso os problemas do banheiro, eu recomendo sim!

Great location. 5 mins away from Paddington station and short walk to Hyde Park. Felt safe, nice area. Would stay again.

Det är ett bra budget alternativ. Vi reste 3 barn och 3 vuxna och hade rummet med tre smala våningssängar. Det var varken toppen eller dåligt, utan ok. Vi vistades på rummet ett par timmar vakna, sov ok. Man kunde höra en tunnelbana då och då men det störde inte. Som de flesta boenden i London så var det trappor som gällde. Frukosten var ok, äggröra, rostat bröd och yoghurt med müsli fanns det. Nutella, ost och skinka som pålägg. Och kokta ägg. Hon som arbetade i köket var väldigt trevlig. Hotellet låg nära Paddington station, vi tog oss enkelt till Hyde park gående. Jag rekommenderar hotellet till de som tänker vara ute större delen av dagen, som mest sover på hotellet. Kanske ser lite på tv, men utöver de så var rummet inget vi gärna hängde i då det saknades soffa eller liknande. Rummet var ok rent, de byttes handdukar dagligen (om vi ville) och tömdes papperskorgar. Första dagen saknades en toalettborste vilket kändes lite ofräscht men det ställdes sedan dit. Så renligheten var även den ok. Därmed får detta hotell betyget ”helt okej” för det var just - helt okej!

Bra beliggenhet, kun fem minutter å gå til Paddington stasjon, seng var ok, rom ikke oppusset på en stund men funket fint for to netter. Største minuset var en del bråk i rommet i første etasje, både fra naboer som spilte høy musikk og snakket høyt, samt slamring med dører fra andre hotellgjester og personale. Det verste var bråk fra toget som antakelig går rett under bygget.

We like this place, although the space is kind of limited. The location is perfect, Paddington station is just around the corner. There are tons of food choice in the area. Hotel staff is very kind and helpful. The room is clean, and the bed is comfortable.

Vi pratar Hotell i london. Prisvärt men ligger över tunnelbanan vilket märks när tågen passerar men inte mer än på andra små hotell. Vill ni ha ett tyst rum får man betala för det på ett större hotell

We felt thankful to find a 6 bed room (3 bunk beds) for our 2 adult and 4 kid family. The location is fantastic as it’s only an 5 minute walk from Paddington Station, and there’s a park across the street for picnics. Paddington has an express train from LHR, and has tube access to central tourist sites. Staff cleaned our room and brought fresh towels daily. There was a mini fridge, fan and kettle there, too. No potable water or air conditioning, though. Also, there’s no elevator so we had 80 steps up to our room. We didn’t mind, but that’s what to expect.

Not so good. Door to room did not work, so was given another room on 4th floor (had to carry large luggage up there) with a bank bed with soft mattress, not comfy.

Location was excellent if you are in town to see the sights. 10 minute walk to Paddington Station. Many restaurants, gift shops and grocery stores within minutes of walking. Amenities are sparse, however, we were not in our room much as we were just in town for a few days to see the sites of London so location was key for us. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Beds were comfortable.

An annual trip back to a city I lived in for fourteen years. Hotel so handy with underground lines close and a great range of eating places.
