My stay was very good, the staff were very friendly and helpful, because it was a trip not planned as my father was rushed into hospital. The staff were very helpful throughout our stay.

Overall great hotel & most of the staff were lovely apart from one waitress that was a bit abrupt when asked if she could clear a table.

We had comfortable stay. The rooms are fine bit dated, plastic hanging off the fire alarm (suspect it was recently installed).No phone in the room.

Quite a rundown seaside hotel, needs a refurb, but as a last minute booking for 1 night the room was fine, clean, spacious. Tiny TV too far from the bed if that is your thing.
On site parking was unexpected, reasonable, but book in advance at peak times, not a lot of it.
Cannot comment on food, hotel breakfast is something I often give a miss.

Room was clean and bed comfy. Room was facing the main road, but you couldn't hear the traffic. Only problem was very creaky floorboards and not enough hot water to run a bath. Also would of been nice to have just a residents only bit of bar. The steam bar was always busy and tables full

Nice hotel. Beautiful views in the bar/ dining area. Staff were helpful. Room was ok. Needed an update. We were horrified to discover bloody stained sheets on our bed and lots of body hairs. We are convinced the bed had not been changed. Staff changed the bed. I made a complaint but no response from the manager. Parking outside the front door was perfect. Although we were over charged for this. The entertainment on Saturday night was great. Good was nice.

This is an older hotel, but shows that it has been maintained. We had a nice ocean view, the room was decently sized, had an updated bathroom. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times and had nice meals there. I especially appreciated their laundry service, since we packed light on our tour of the UK.

Was staying in Newquay for the weekend to do some sightseeing. Hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Only let down is the hotel needs some updating. A lick of paint, maybe some new doors and windows. Other than this it was great and wouldn’t mind stopping again. The pub downstairs was great, only has breakfast there that was nice. Went down for a drink every night, they had live music on Friday and a quiz on Sunday which we thought was great! You’re in a certain location where you can walking to just about everywhere in Newquay.

Stunning views from the hotel. Great little touch from the hotel when you pre book parking they put your name on a parking space so you know which one is yours.

Room was clean and spacious decour need addressing skirting boards looked liked they had been rubbed down but not painted so were a multi coloured and areas on wall 1 different shades on same wall bed was comfy but had what sounded like a motor keep kicking in at night so disturbed sleep

It's an older building which comes with its drawbacks like noise insulation not being 1st grade. The facilities are decent and comfortable enough. Breakfast is good. Location is excellent, right next to the sea and beach. Train station less than a 5 min walk. Restaurants close by. 30 min walk to Fistral beach.

Dated rooms. Could feel sand in the sheets and the pillow was flat as a pancake. Breakfast and service was great and the sea view in the restaurant was beautiful.
