Holiday Inn Kenilworth - Warwick, an IHG Hotel

Hotellet virker noget slidt og lider under manglende vedligehold. Boede på 6.sal hvor der stort set ikke er tryk på bruser eller toilet. God morgenmadsrestaurant, og fint lounge område med kaffe, frugt, osv.

Tired hotel, poor internal soundproofing

It was fine until I got up in the morning to have a shower and the water from the shower was cold . I was very disappointed. The manager was however apologetic.

The double bedrooms were of a very good size. The amenities were all there. Good clean bathroom and good dinig area. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Parking was impossible so had to park outside. Location was otherwise excellent. A bit cold but didn’t realise there was an oil heater in the wardrobe until too late. Some of the bathroom fittings falling apart and no obvious extractor fan.

It is me go to hotel whenever I am in Conventey

Lovely stay, hotel is great :) The tap water in the area however is awful!

While my room was ok, the hotel in general is very tatty, tired and dirty - especially the carpet, which was dirty and had large spills stains, walls, paintwork, doors dirty and dusty. The hand and body lotion in the bathroom was old, smelly like it had gone off and seemed to have separated into water and gunge. Some of the seats in the breakfast area cafe were so dirty they were sticky (quite disgusting), dog hair over the table base pedestal. Some of the cutlery was dirty. Quality of breakfast was below average, low quality bread and pastries. The fact this hotel is a Holiday Inn gives false expectations of a certain standard. I was relieved to check out.

Sorry but due a refurbishment Not enough staff mixed up dinners waited to long for one meal would not go back.

Excellent staff

Ive only used this hotel for a 1 night stay and there is nothing at all to complain about. Room and bathroom exceptionally clean, a comfy bed and pillows couldn't ask for more. Lovely breakfast selection as well.

The room was clean, nice size. Parking was easy clear entrance and exit. Was in walkable distance to what we were doing each day.

Mycket bra service

There was a party close to our room the music was very loud and we struggled to sleep. The car park was full and we had to pay to park somewhere else

Great location for accessing anything near the town centre. On-site parking was tight and sometimes very scarce but manageable. Breakfast was good with the standard British variety. Our room was basic but serviceable. We stayed for 8 nights while we moved home and at least five of those nights we were not left with enough bath towels for our family. It was ridiculous for us to have to request more towels almost every day. Our in-room phone was also broken and could not be replaced/repaired during our lengthy visit.

Shame there is no stair access to floors. The lifts are slow and small. If thetecwas stairs access those of is not needing a lift could get to our rooms without a lift. The hotel is very nice and airey. Room was spacious, clean and in good decorative. Breakfast ws exvellent.

Hotel/room was excellent. Poor double glazed windows with noise well past 1-30 am. external doors slammed at 1-00. It’s a shame was a good hotel,

No remote control in room. Then given one that didn't work but staff went out of their way to make it a very nice stay and couldn't be more helpful

Excellent customer service, all staff were friendly, professional and efficient. However, hotel is in need of updating, the bathroom was especially worn out, the toilet didn’t work properly. The buffet breakfast was good, but the eggs were terrible, fried eggs were dry and the scrambled eggs were just a mushy mess, not very appetising.

Upon arriving at the hotel, there was no staff at the reception desk, I walked down to the restaurant to see if any staff there could help, and I could not find a member of staff there either. When walking back to reception a young man appeared from the back room, puuting his jacket on, I said I've been waiting a while and looking fro staff. He stated that he was on a call in the back, and when I questioned about the other member of staff from the bar area, he stated he was probably also on a call out back. Check in from that point was fine and the hotel was fine, dirty walls in the bedroom and looks a little tired but otherwise ok. approximately 30 mins after arriving at our room, the reception staff called to check we were ok with the room. I found this a little odd as that's not something that normally happens in a hotel.
