Lovely hotel, great hotel, fab staff

Great location,clean, comfortable modern room, delicious dinner and breakfast

Great breakfast and nice location and the staff was fantastic and super friendly. Only request would be a lift to the top rooms.

All the staff were so lovely, each one we met. So kind to our 6 month old baby. Breakfast was fantastic with a big choice on the menu. Place could do with a lick of paint in some areas.

Con anticipación realice la reservación, el problema fue que mi vuelo se cancelo el dia planeado y solicitamos un cambio de dia y no hicieron ni el intento de realizar la solicitud, perdi la reservacion y mi dinero, muy mal servicio, por tal razón no lo recomendaría

This hotel was excellent. The staff were delightful, everyone very friendly and very helpful. The hotel had all of the amenities you would need bar a fridge in the room as other reviews have mentioned. This wasn’t an issue for us though, they give you milk in a thermos at the bar. The room itself did look a little tired in places but it’s a 3-star hotel so that was okay with us. That being said, it was very clean and comfortable which is what matters most. I would advise check booking through the hotel website directly, they do deals and I suspect I may have gotten the room cheaper directly than through Hotels.com, rookie mistake by me but it is what it is. Overall a great hotel made even better by its staff.

Wonderful beachfront hotel. This is our third time back, such a friendly hotel and breakfast is a real treat. We will be going back again and again.

The room was cold. And the bed leaned over to one side in rm 7 Bathroom was cold and hot water was not hot But good food and main bar are was warm

The Marine Hotel was located in a great position for views and walks to Whitstable town and harbour. The room was well presented and comfortable to stay in. There were some signs of damp and wear and tear, it's probably due a refresh soon. The staff were very helpful and polite when checking in/out and booking meals. Food in the restaurant was lovely and not over priced. Breakfast was cooked freshly and was again very tasty. Overall it was a nice stay but I didn't feel I got value for money, this was not a cheap hotel for a mid week autumn stay.

Hotel staff were fantastic and professional especially the reception . However despite contacting the site staff the bathroom shower taps did not work . We all were not able to have a shower or bath due to the taps not working properly. The site staff couldn’t work it out and it was hit and Miss whether you had hot water . Having a cold shower was disappointing and very uncomfortable! I did tell the reception as this room really should be let out until resolved. The reception and breakfast was excellent so we didn’t make a fuss but it certainly left a negative vibe to our stay .

Friendly staff throughout. We loved the building and the orangery. Deluxe sea view room was lovely with comfy bed. The food in the evening was great and there was an extensive cocktail menu too. Will definitely return.

I loved staying here. The location is amazing, right on the seafront. The welcome upon arrival was amazing. The staff were so friendly. The room was lovely, it just gave a welcoming, homely vibe. Loved it!!!

Lovely stay at this friendly beachside hotel. 20 minutes walk from central Whitstable. Staff were great. Food was delicious! Will be back
